Needless to say, the lycan that attacked this pack was the same with the one that had attacked them as well, the unknown pack of lycan that worked for Kellan.
Hunter’s pack should be the only pack of lycan in this whole realm, but as it turned out, there was another lycan pack out there that they didn’t know.

“Now, you are clean.” Hunter chuckled sniffing at her and kissed her breast. They were still naked and the alpha was helping his mate to dry herself.

Lilac blushed when Hunter kissed her breast, she used both of her arms to cover herself, which made him laughed.
“What do you want to cover, sweetheart? I have seen everything.” In fact, Hunter had kissed every inch of her skin and he would do it all day without getting tired if Lilac let him.
“I am tired,” Lilac said sullenly.
She had been waiting for him for a whole day in anxiety, scared if there was something bad happened to him, thus when she finally saw him again, she felt extremely relief and the exhaustion started to catch up with her.
“Sure, let’s rest. You need to sleep.” Hunter kissed her forehead now and diligently wiped her, this time he didn’t try to do anything. His woman was tired and he was not a monster who would force himself on her. Well, at least not today.
Hunter couldn’t continue with his tease too because he didn’t trust himself. Bathing together without doing anything was already his limit, more than that he would have hurt Lilac with his selfishness.
When they were like this, what happened today seemed like a dream, because they were so peaceful, as if they didn’t have care for the world.

However, once Lilac was sleeping, Hunter opened his eyes and got off the bed. There were a few things
that he needed to sort out.
Lilac must be very tired, this pregnancy was rather hard on her and she became easily lethargic until
she forgot their conversation before this about how Hunter wanted this pack to be reclaimed by alpha
Ramon.
“Sleep tight my love,” Hunter said, kissing her forehead and then got off the bed. He told two of the
warriors to stay there, making sure his woman was fine and then shifted into his beast, because it would
be faster to reach the spot where he promised he would meet with him.
Today event was something Hunter didn’t expect at all. It was not his plan and he was also surprised he
lost Aiden.
Yes, because of the attack, they forgot about Aiden and he managed to escape during the chaos.
“You are late,” said a man from the shadow. He was wearing hoodie that could cover his face, but it was not necessary, since as a shifter, you could recognize your opponent by their scent if you were familiar with the said person.
“My mate just fell asleep,” Hunter replied casually and the man emerged from the dark. Upon closer look when the bright moon above their head shone this empty alley, you could recognize the man, who was talking with Hunter. It was alpha Ramon.
Alpha Ramon could only scoff, but he changed his attituded when he spoke under Hunter’s glaring look. He was not going to get himself killed today, since he knew how much this man loved that woman, despite the fact that woman was Aiden’s destined mate.
“We lost Aiden.” Ramon looked troubled when he reported this, but Hunter had expected this result. This situation was out of their hands, they didn’t predict the attack from the lycan.
“What have you found out?” Hunter asked.
“Nothing much. The attacker was the lycan. Two alphas assumed they came from your pack, but because you were there to fight them off along with the other warriors and even killed most of them, the accusation was proven invalid.”

This was one of the reasons why Hunter chose to stay behind. He would rather dealing with the accusation.

Their original plan was for Ramon to pretend to help Aiden to run away, adding punishment to his crime
because he was trying to runaway from the trial.

“Do you know where those lycans came from?” Hunter asked, while he was deep in thought.

not a pack.”
That was a possibility.
“What about this pack?”
Hunter stared at him for a while. “Lay low. Alpha James is not as st upid as his son.”
After saying that, Hunter turned around and left the scene. That was his order for alpha Ramon. That
was right, Hunter was ordering one of the alphas.
Lilac was not even aware there was this kind of relationship between the two, because the next morning when she woke up, she started to throw up for an hour straight until a healer was being called and she finally could drink down her concoction.
“Feeling better?” Hunter asked, he wiped her sweat and put a cold wet towel on her forehead, so she would feel good.
“Hm…” Lilac curled her body.
“Rest, I will ask someone to prepare your meal.”
Because of her current condition, she forgot again to ask about yesterday and now she fell asleep again.
Not long after, Rye knocked on the door and informed Hunter that alpha James wanted to see him in
