Hearing that, Lilac gave him a dagger look, as if she was going to claw him again like she did the previous night in the alley. 

Well, she didn’t mind to do it again if she had enough strength, since this man was really annoying, he was the epitome of callous and recklessness.

Hunter took Lilac to the pack house with him and by the time they arrived, they were already late by two hours, which made the rest of the alpha growled at him the moment he appeared. 

“I need to take care of her first. She needs to be here, since she is the victim. We don’t need to hold this meeting in the first place, if someone knew how to be courteous and keep the end of the agreement well.” That was the only excuse that Hunter gave to them and none of them were dare to confront him for it. 

On the other hand, Lilac was amazed by the way Hunter handled the situation, he didn’t look fluster at all, even though this was not his own pack, but he acted as if he owned this place. His personality and presence were very strong and this demanded all of their attention the moment he stepped into the room. 

Not all the alpha could pull such stunt. 

“Where is he?” Hunter immediately realized there was something missing in this room and all of them realized in an instant, who he was talking about,

Hunter’s deep and dark voice echoed throughout the hall, which made the atmosphere grew uneasy. 

If the first person that Hunter noticed when he entered the hall was the absence of Aiden, then the first person that Lilac noticed the moment she stepped into the hall was luna Jasmine. The luna had her eyes on her all the time, they were very piercing and felt like she was going to make a hole on your cheeks. 

“He is still sick,” luna Jasmine said, she finally shifted her vicious glare at Lilac toward the alpha lycan. She was still mad by what happened last night, or maybe it was more correct if one said; she was angry because everything didn’t go as she wanted. “He can’t attend this meeting, more so, my son doesn’t have anything to do with this whole thing.” 

Hunter raised his brows, he didn’t look pleased at all, despite the small on his face. “He doesn’t have anything to do with this? If its not your son’s stupidity, we will not waste our time here. 

Luna Jasmine gritted her teeth, she had to endure such humiliation. How could someone like her, who loved her son so badly would be able to stand the way Hunter talk about him in such derisive and degrading tone? 

However, the fact that she didn’t blow her top made Lilac frowned, because she knew how much luna Jasmine loved Aiden. 

Lilac had learned a lot of things from her, which allowed her to notice it pretty quickly, if the luna had created a plan to get away from this trouble.
