“He was too angry that day. That wasn’t what he meant.” Wenny quickly explained, “He felt we had delayed our marriage for too long. As a father, he’s naturally worried about me.”

Wenny reached out and slightly pulled Zac’s sleeve. “You can understand him, right?”

Zac glanced at her.
