She had an allergic reaction to alcohol, feeling itchy all over. It was Nash’s constant care that prevented her from scratching her skin. Indeed, even if there wasn’t any love between her and Nash, and even if she wasn’t happy in the York family, she could still feel his compassion at times.

It seemed Zoe was serious this time about repairing her relationship with Nash.
