Divorce?

Golden was stunned while hearing that, especially when it was mentioned by Margery, who had been tolerant and tender. But soon, he sneered and walked over to grab her fair neck. Then he started to gradually exert more strength on his grip.

"Now you want to divorce because of pain?"

"Think about Andrew! Do you know what he wants now?"

His words seemed to lock her down just like chains, which rendered her unable to move.

Of course, she knew quite well about her two-year-old son that he could only see his father during the family reunion banquet and so did Margery herself. So for Andrew, his earnest hope was that Golden could spare some time every day and go to the kindergarten to see him. Besides, a loving family portrait in which he could hold the hands of both his parents had been one of his dreaming moments as every kid in the kindergarten had kept such a nice family picture in their school bag. Unfortunately, he failed to gain such a joy.

Once Margery divorced Golden, Andrew would lose his father forever.

At the thought of that, Margery closed her eyes with a bitter smile and dared not to struggle again.

She was then thrown hard onto the cold wall beside just like a broken doll.

She happened to hit her own forehead at the side of the bathtub. Suddenly, she felt a bang of sharp pain.

She was trembling all over because of pain. But she still managed to turn her face away and hold back her whine out of pain while biting her lips hard. She didn't want to show him her bleeding forehead and tearful eyes.

She had been used to disguising herself during the cruel marriage for three years. She had been used to burying all the pain deep into her heart.

When she was about to faint away out of pain, she seemed to notice that Golden looked mad again. He suddenly reached out his hand to drag away her bath towel from her body and then threw it into the bathtub. Then he sneered, "Remember! It's I who have the only right to ask for divorce!"

While speaking, he bit on her thin and fair shoulder.

"Ahhhh…" Margery frowned out of pain. It was so painful that she kept struggling and tried to get rid of it.

She had been staying alone in this house for the past three years. Her heart was rendered ice-cold because of upset and pain. She hated him for getting so close to her.

Though she was reluctant, her body still went against her will and reacted out of instinct.

Though she felt exceedingly hurt, she still wanted him to take further move.

"Emmmm…." Margery couldn't help biting her lips hard while curling up her toes. She was aware that she couldn't bail herself out tonight. She turned her back on Golden while his cold and sharp breath fell onto her body. She closed her tearful eyes and said calmly, "I am not on my safe period."

Golden raised his head while looking at her nape. Margery was still being pinned down on the ground just like a dead animal, unmoved, which rendered him bored.
