Chapter 326 Ormand Wakes Up

He had no choice but to walk over and say, “Ms. Zumthor, wake up. It’s time for us to set off.”

This position wasn’t comfortable. Viola hadn’t been able to sleep well. So, she woke up the moment Todd spoke.

Rubbing her sore back and arms, Viola carefully moved out from under the quilt. And Todd hurriedly gave her his arm.

As soon as she put on her slippers and stood up, Viola found that Ormand was still holding onto the skirt of her clothes.

Moreover, though Viola had gotten him a pillow, Ormand was

frowning again and groaning softly.

When Todd saw Ormand like this, he sighed and felt distressed.

It was so much more pain for Viola. She wished she could immediately take Ormand into her arms, kiss him, and be with him forever.

But it was getting late, and Viola had to hurry to the airport to board the plane.

Viola tried to pry open Ormand’s hand but failed after trying twice.

Ormand was gripping it very tightly.

“Viola, don’t go to him, don’t go…”

Ormand kept muttering these words in his sleep.

Viola’s fingers were trembling. She held back her tears and didn’t dare to pull his hand with too much force for fear of waking him up.

Russell came in suddenly and told Viola, “Viola, if you don’t leave now, it will be too late. Russell and I will take care of him. He will be fine.”

Viola made up her mind and talked to the unconscious man on the bed in a steady voice, “Ormand, be good. I won’t leave. I just need to use the toilet. I’ll be back soon.”

With that, Viola ignored the other people in the room and leaned over to kiss Ormand on the lips to soothe him.

The sweetness of affection filled the room.

Todd watched them and rubbed his nose awkwardly. And he glanced at Russell.

Russell frowned and looked unhappy, but he did not say anything

After the kiss, Ormand calmed down a lot and loosened the grip.

Viola took the opportunity to pull her coat out of Ormand’s

hand and replace it with Russell’s.

“Viola, you?”

Viola held her index finger to her lips and shushed him.

Russell had no choice but to sit by the bed with a gloomy face and let the sleeping Ormand clutch at his coattail.

Before she left, Viola took a final look at the handsome man in bed who she loved deeply.

She must bring the serum back! Ormand must be safe and

sound and wait for her!

Viola stopped thinking and left the laboratory with Todd.

Salt Lake City, a famous rich community in the United States, was 9,529 miles away from the capital of Portugal. It was a long distance and took a few hours to get there by direct flight.

Viola used the time on the plane to catch up on her sleep. And Todd slept a bit too.

By the time Ormand was completely awake, Viola was already gone for two to three hours.

“Viola!”

Ormand’s eyes flew open. Everything was still black to him. He could not see anything. And he subconsciously tightened his grip.

However, Ormand noticed that the slap of cloth he was gripping didn’t belong to Viola. It felt like a man’s suit.

Ormand immediately withdrew his hand and asked, “Who are you?”

“Russell.”

The man sitting by his bed spoke in a low voice without any emotion.
