Chapter 497 Ormand or Viola's Male Servant

As she gently coaxed Ronian, his eyes reddened with tears inside.

"Mom, I'm sorry. I want to live. I don't want to give up the honor and wealth that I have now. I don't want to go to jail. I don't want to live like a walking dead. I would rather be dead!"

Ronian hugged the thin woman tighter and tighter.

"Don't worry. That bastard made you mentally ill, and that's why you lost my sister. I know how much you hate him."

"I will make him pay!"

In the evening, Konner came back, rubbing his lower back and complaining.

He had been forced to run errands at the National Bureau of Investigation for several days, and his whole body was about to fall apart from the pain.

Ronian was so cruel. Konner was not strong, and he didn't even have a belt. How could he bear the tasks of the Bureau with such a weak body?

He really wanted to cry because his life was squeezed out of him as if he was in hell.

When would this end?

However, when he thought of how Jerry was hit with rattan last night, he was so scared that he didn't dare curse Ronian.

He pulled on the wall with his soft, trembling legs, and slowly moved into the garden.

He stopped a male servant who was rushing somewhere. "Where are you running to? Come and help me."

The servant didn't move immediately. Then he walked to him to hold his arm. "I'm sorry, Mr. Konner, Mr. Ronian asked us to clean up the top floor. That's why I'm rushing and forgot to greet you."

"Why does Ronian want to clean up the top floor?"

The male servant shook his head. "We don't know the details. It's already past six o'clock. Mr. Ronian asked us to clean it up before night. Or he will make us suffer."

Confused, Konner was still considerate of him. "Go. Do what you have to do. Don't bother to help me. I can walk by myself."

"Thank you for your understanding, Mr. Konner."

The male servant bowed deeply and turned to run to the backyard.

Konner doubtfully looked at his back.

Last night, he suspected that Jerry had stolen something from the top floor, while today, Ronian asked servants to clean it up.

What does Ronian want?

His instinct told him that there must be a secret.

He slowly shifted his steps towards the backyard.

As Konner approached the backyard, he heard the jarring noises of glasses breaking.

In the backyard were many servants and bodyguards, and even Dewey, but all of them were busy. No one noticed Konner.

Some were burning things, some were smashing glass containers, and some were digging pits to bury glass fragments.

Konner was bewildered at such a scene.

In the corner were containers that had not been destroyed, which were thumb-sized glass tubes with transparent liquid at the bottom.

He picked up a random glass tube and examined it closely.

Dewey, who was not far away, was shocked to see what Konner did. Dewey hurriedly walked over, took the glass tube from his hand, and put it back in the corner.

"Mr. Konner, these are all trash. Mr. Ronian wants to destroy them. Please don't touch them in case they hurt your hand. Everyone is busy here and we can't take care of you. Would you like to go back to the villa? It's time to have dinner."

Konner was preoccupied with his own thoughts. "Alright, you guys go ahead. I'm going back to my room."

"Take care, Mr. Konner."

Dewey bowed respectfully and turned to continue with his business.

Konner secretly observed the messy backyard for a little while.

When no one noticed him, he quietly picked up the glass tube, hid it

in his pocket, and pretended to leave the backyard leisurely.

After working all day, Ormand returned to the Viorin and found

Jennifer at home, who had always been mischievous.

In the evening, when they were having dinner, Jennifer kept

staring at Ormand.

Viola noticed and tapped her head. "What are you looking at? Eat."

"Oh, okay."

Jennifer rubbed her slightly aching head and looked away. She took

a bite of the spaghetti in her bowl and carefully glanced at Ormand

again.

Ormand raised his dark eyes and exchanged a glance with her.

She immediately retracted her gaze guiltily, not daring to look
