Ex-husband, Please Respect Yourself novel Chapter 101

Rory smiled slightly, "Mr. Raman asked me to help you. You can ask me to do anything what you need here."

Cathy was stunned, and she had a lot of thoughts.

He was sure that she would refuse Matt, knowing that she was short of people, so he asked someone to help.

"What else did he tell you?"

Rory said lightly: "Mr. Raman said that if you are busy, you don't have to call him, and you don't have to worry about thanking him. Anyway, you should settle the matter in front of you first and talk about other things later. After all, your father's heath is the most important."

"..."

Thank?

Cathy tightened her lips.

He knew her mind clearly, and didn’t give her any chance to refuse. He just talk directly about her father's health.

After thinking for a while, she looked up and said lightly, "I want to ask you to do me a favor. Can you help me find out the best hospitals in Chicago?"

Rory nodded. "Okay, I'll go right now."

After he had finished, he left, and suddenly paused again and said, "By the way, Mr. Raman also said, let you take good care of yourself."

Cathy, "..."

"... Well, I know."

Until he disappeared, she came to herself. She looked down, and turned back.

Guessing Tyrone also had a mess of things, she did not call. What he said was right, anyway. It was the first thing to solve the immediate matter.

What happened to her father was just knew by these people now. There was no news outside. There was no one to visit her father at the hospital, except the warden.

When Mr. Jones handed in his materials, he stopped by and hurried away. After that, Rory came here most frequently.

He was almost staying outside, even he buying food for them.

It was late at night, but Cathy was not sleepy. She let her mother fall asleep in the next bed. She sat on the chair with bending her knees and legs, thinking about something.

Suddenly there was a peep from the door. She was shocked and hurried stand up to have a look.

Opening the door, two men met unexpectedly. Her body suddenly shocked.

As if he had suddenly appeared at the door on the night of the hotel. Her heart was beating like she was in the dream.

She looked at him and stammered, "You, how can you come in?"

Wasn't there a prison guard at the door?

The man said calmly, "I told them I was your ex-husband and came in when I was identified."

"..."

Ex-husband, he could really say it.

Cathy said haltingly, "What are you doing here so late?"

"Don't worry." The man said lightly, took her shoulder and walked into the ward with long legs. The tall and slender figure stood beside Cathy, flattering him more delicate and thinner.

Cathy was struck by a thought and pushed him away gently. She whispered, "Didn't you let Rory come over? Is there anything else that you are worried about?

"I am worried about you." The man said a few words indifferently, walked to the bedside, and looked down at Mr. Lawson.

Cathy stagnated and watched him remain stiffly. His voice seemed to be playing back in her ear.

"What did the doctor say?"

"..."

No one responded for more than a dozen seconds. Tyrone frowned slightly, looked up at her, and the saw her staring at himself. His eyes darkened, went over and asked warmly, "What's wrong?"

Cathy suddenly came to herself and blushed. She bowed her head and said, "Ah? No, it's all right.

She went back to her chair and continued to nest. She whispered, "The doctor said that if the operation was successful, the effect would be better and them my father would recover, but if the effect was not good, my father would spend the next half of his life in a wheelchair."

Tyrone stood opposite and looked down at the small body hugged together. His eyes darkened. "Then what are you going to do?"

Cathy laid her chin on her knees and looked at the two elders asleep in bed. She said quietly, "Mr. Jones told me to approve the execution outside prison. During the recovery period, they were all taken care of by their families. My mother and I can still do it. And if we can’t deal with, we can invite another caregiver."

The only inconvenience was that she had to work and could not help at home.

Tyrone frowned. "Didn't you ever think you needed someone to take care of yourself?"

Did she think of herself as a superman?

Working hard and taking care of the family, she even had two children in her belly.

Cathy was quiet.

Of course, she knew that. It was impossible not to admit it. She was always thinking about whether she should keep the two children. Now, at this hard time, she was the only pillar of the whole family. Nobody knew what would happened after her father's follow-up treatment. When her belly got bigger and bigger, she must do not have enough energy and even she would lost her job.

What a desperate situation it would be to let her mother take care of two adults and two children when she had no money and no job.

Did she have to choose one between her parents and her children?

All the struggle and hesitation in her eyes fell into the eyes of the man, and his heart sank to the bottom of the valley as if he had guessed what she was going to do.

"Cathy!" Tyrone's eyes grew gloomy. Suddenly he came to her and stared at her. His voice was cold. "What are you going to do?"

Without waiting for her to respond, he clasped her shoulder tightly and looked cold and terrible. "If you lack money, I can give it to you. If you lack people to help you, I can provide, but I will never allow you to give up the two children."

Cathy's expression loosened a little and slowly looked at him. The painfulness could be see in her eyes. She laughed sarcastically. "Are you going to take care of me? I take your money, use your people, and help you have children?

The man's handsome face was especially deep and tight, peeking a strong sense of danger, and his dark eyes could swallow her in. This was Cathy's first time to see him like this after they divorced.

Sure enough, his most important thing was children.

"I don't care what you think, you can't abort these two children."

Cathy suddenly laughed cruelly. "They are in my belly. Could I have to get your permission when I abort? You see clearly the situation I am in. As you said yesterday, why are they born to suffer in this way?

Tyrone, with a strong sense of fierceness, restrained his anger and gritted his teeth, said, "You can choose to remarry. I'll take you to the Civil Affairs Bureau right now."
