“Go ahead.” Jalen was surprised. There was actually someone who gave him

suggestions. It was interesting.

“I see that Mr. Halton does not seem to be purely afraid of the dark. I’m afraid there is

some psychological reason. If you have time, Mr. Halton should see a psychologist,” she

said.

A psychological problem was neither big nor small, especially for someone like Jalen

who was under a lot of pressure all year round. If there was a psychological problem, it

would become more and more serious.

She sincerely asked him how he was doing, but Jalen’s face instantly darkened because

of her words.

Elaina watched as his face became darker, and even his cold expression could make

people shiver. She continued helplessly, “Mr. Halton, a psychological problem is a

disease. There is no need to be too resistant.”

“That’s enough!”

Jalen was furious. He looked at Elaina as if he was looking at an enemy.

“I have no problems. Dr. Gainsford doesn’t need to worry about me.” After that, the

man turned into the room and slammed the door shut.

“He…” Elaina was speechless and a little angry.

When she got home, Elaina cooked some instant food for herself, but she still felt angry.

Her kindness was treated as malice!

As she was cursing in her heart, the doorbell suddenly rang. Elaina was surprised, but she still walked over and opened the door.

“Graham?” She was even more surprised. “Did you knock on the wrong door?”

After all, she and Jalen lived opposite each other, and it was not impossible for Graham to knock on the wrong door.

Graham shook his head and handed over the thing in his hand. “Dr. Gainsford, this is the porridge that Mr. Halton asked me to buy for you. Eat it while it is hot.”

Elaina widened her eyes and stuttered, “Jalen… Jalen asked you to buy it?”

Graham nodded. “Yes.”
