"These are yours as they gave them to you."

Shawn insisted as he stiffly shoved the jewelry box back at Norah.

Norah didn't take it. She insisted, "I won't take things that don't belong to me."

Besides, they were already divorced, so what was the point of her taking it?

"If that's what you're looking for me for, then you can go!"

"You're kicking me out?" Shawn clenched his fist and looked at her incredulously.

There was anger in his eyes.

Shawn sneered and laughed. He looked at her, "Norah, I'm looking for trouble."

"You're right. I shouldn't force you to take the things that don't belong to you. Plenty of women want to receive Shawn Lawson's gift and marry me. Why should I have to pester you?"

"Well, I will give them to other women now."

The first person that came to Norah's mind was Lilian.

Her face became miserably white instantly.

She could not have the strength to stand if she wasn't holding the sofa next to her.

It took her a while to calm down, "You're right. Mr. Lawson has many lovers. Who am I? I'm not even worth mentioning. Not to mention you have your love of life."

"Shawn, you wanted to divorce me long ago. You didn't mention it because you couldn't get past the hurdle in your heart and could not let your Grandpa down. Now it's good. You can find Lilian and ask her to marry you. You can get together right away."

Shawn clenched his fist as he was irritated.

He gritted his teeth, "Is that what you want to say?"

They had divorced, and it was his freedom to marry someone else. She had no right to interfere with others.

"Humph..." Shawn sneered. He looked at her coldly. "Good, very good."

"Norah, since this is what you want, I will do as you wish."

But before she could finish her words, Shawn slammed the door and left like a gust of wind.

Shawn went away.

He had left even more decisively than she had imagined.

Norah hugged herself tightly and suddenly felt the air was cold.
