Hearing what Dorothy said, Sophia was a bit confused. What did she mean? Had someone told Colin she was with Payne tonight? When did this happen?

"What is it about her? Is she really so good in bed, that every man who sleeps with her becomes stupid?" As Dorothy shrieked in anger, one of the bodyguards approached Sophia and pressed her down on the bed.

"Get off me!" The nightmare haunted Sophia again. She couldn't help recalling what happened in Z Country, the night Payne tried to rape her. Shouting at the man, Sophia pushed him away with all her strength.

This caught the man off guard as he wasn't expecting such fierce a struggle from such a feeble woman. He fell off Sophia, tumbling to the ground.

"Ouch! Damn you, you village whore!" The man cried out in pain.

Seeing his partner's misfortune, the other man quickly took Sophia under his control. He slapped her on her face, "Don't fight it, if you want to live."

Just then, there was a loud knock on the door. "Who is it?" Dorothy asked, wryly.

"The police! We need to search this room!"

Dorothy looked panicked and confused. She murmured to herself in shock, 'Why would the police search this room?'

Though confused, she asked her bodyguards to release Sophia. As everyone got to their feet, Dorothy turned to Sophia and warned, "If the police ask, tell them we are talking about family matters."

With a sneer on her face, Sophia straightened her clothes. Why would she do what Dorothy told her?

A bodyguard went to open the door. Outside in the corridor stood a couple of policemen, who walked in and glanced at the three men and two women in the room. A policeman showed his Police ID, and addressed them, "Someone has reported a kidnapper entering this room. Everyone in this room will be interviewed at the police station!"

Dorothy's heart jolted. She smile seductively, and said to the police, "Mr. Constable, I'm Dorothy Lien, the deputy CEO of Lien Group. This man is my husband, and these two are my bodyguards. Oh, and this woman is Mr. Colin Li's wife. She's my honorable guest here. We are having a little reunion party, that's all. No one has been kidnapped. Who is this person who gave you this false information?"

The policeman seemed convinced. He turned and looked at Sophia, and asked, "Is this true?"

Sophia didn't want to stir much trouble. All she wanted was to be safe. Thus, she took her handbag and confirmed, "Yes, I'm her friend. Maybe someone has given the police false information. If so, to prove everyone's innocence, I will go home now. Let's call it a night."

Gritting her teeth, Dorothy watched Sophia leave the room with the policemen and cursed to herself. That damn woman!

The policemen and Sophia walked out of the hotel room. As they walked down the corridor and entered the elevator, the leading policeman suddenly said, "Mrs Li, Mr. Song sent us here. Are you alright?"

Mr. Song? Sophia suddenly realized they were referring to Kirk Song. She shook her head, and answered, "I'm okay. Did Mr. Song come with you?"

She wanted to thank him in person. The policeman nodded, "Yes. Mr. Song is waiting at the entrance of the hotel."

A brand new BMW car was parked at the entrance of the hotel. When Sophia walked out, the owner of the car was speaking on the phone. He was an urbane man with a gentle demeanor, and wore glasses. As soon as he spotted Sophia, he got out of the car, and gestured to her. Sophia's instinct told her that he was Kirk Song.

"That's all for today. Leave as soon as possible...Okay."

He hung up the phone, and walked up to her. Speaking in an elegant tone, Kirk asked, "Mrs. Li?"

"Yes, I'm Sophia. Thank you for your help, Mr. Song." They politely shook hands.

Kirk smiled, "You're welcome, Mrs. Li. Can I give you a ride?"

"No, thank you. My car is parked here too. Please don't refuse if someday I ask my husband to invite you out for dinner." Sophia politely answered.

Kirk nodded. After watching Sophia get in the car and drive away, he retrieved his phone and dialed Colin's number.

"Mr. Li, Mrs. Li has departed."

"How does she look? Is she hurt?" Colin massaged his throbbing temples as he asked.

"No, she's unhurt. When I got the phone call, I quickly arranged several policemen to head to the hotel. Everything looked fine when Mrs. Li was ushered out." It was only when Sophia's car disappeared from his sight that Kirk sat back in his car.

"I see. Thank you."

Colin hung up the phone, and started to think about the pictures Dorothy had sent him. What did Sophia want? Why was she with Payne again?

He could've started another investigation, but he didn't want to. Even if he had seen the picture where Payne and Sophia were kissing, he wouldn't have believed that it was true. He would rather believe the picture to be taken in a special angle so that they looked like they were kissing each other.

In The Hotel

Dorothy slapped Payne in his face. She yelled, "Payne Tai, is this what you do to me in return?!"

"Honey! I can explain! And don't forget what papa said!" Payne rubbed his cheek and grimaced.

Irritated, Dorothy paced around the room. She yelled again, "Why on earth did my father chose you? Even if you have a past with Sophia, there are so many men in the world. I will call my father now!"

That said, Dorothy dialed Gregary's number, "Dad, I don't understand. Why you have to use Payne against Sophia? You can choose another man...Why him?"

Gregary calmly answered, "I've told you so many times. Sophia was in love with Payne before. He would be our weapon against Sophia." But Payne wasn't their only weapon. Right now, in front of Gregary, there sat the best PR in Lien Group, Maeve Duanmu.

"But he's also my husband! I can't tolerate him sleeping with other women! Anyway, I've taken pictures of them in bed. I will blur out Payne's face and send them to the media." As long as pictures of Mrs. Li sleeping with another man were made public, Sophia would be despised by all.

Gregary shook his head, "No, don't do that. It's only the beginning. Don't do anything in haste or you will ruin our plan."

Hearing that, Dorothy squeaked in frustration. It was only after Gregary comforted her for a long while, that she reluctantly restrained her anger.

After she hung up, Payne hugged her, "Honey, see? I don't want to do it, either. You have no idea how badly I'm suffering. Every time I see Sophia's face, I feel like vomiting, because she has slept with so many men..."

Dorothy looked at him doubtfully and asked, "Do you mean that?"

"Yes, honey, every word I said was true. You are the only woman I love in this world... But we have to bite our tongues. Let's not mess with papa's plans now."

Dorothy nodded reluctantly. Even though she wasn't allowed to send these compromising pictures to the press, she could still do many other things to undermine Sophia and Colin's relationship.

If these pictures were not enough to convince Colin, she would collect other evidence and hand it to him.

"Honey." Dorothy suddenly hugged Payne around his waist.

Payne hurriedly held her, and asked, "What is it, honey?"

"When will you ask her out again?"

Dorothy asked with the most hideous smile on her face. Hearing her words, Payne completely froze in shock and couldn't say a word.

"Baby, if you are not willing, I won't push you."

Payne hurriedly shook his head, "No, honey, I'm willing to do everything for you."

Of course he was willing, it was another chance for him to meet his Sophia again.

Gregary hung up the phone. He looked at the charming woman sitting in front of him, and continued, "I can offer you any sum of money you'd like, as long as you can get in Colin's bed."
