She didn't know what Liam was thinking about. All she knew was that this man was a fierce and ambitious man with mysteries that she couldn't understand thoroughly.

"What, what do you mean by that?" Abigail asked but felt kind of guilty for some reason.

"What do I mean? You don't know what I mean, then how dare you to beg me!" Liam sneered.

Abigail was suddenly speechless, and didn't know how to reply to him.

Liam was a man who had the last words, and she could do nothing about it.

She couldn't accept the truth that Tina would go to jail for such a little thing, and she felt that she had no choice in the matter.

'Liam must be avenging Olive.'

That was all Abigail could think of.

Abigail hesitated for a while and said, "Okay, what do you want from me?"

After hearing his words, Abigail still couldn't believe it. "That's it?"

"That's it. Otherwise, what else do you think I will ask you to do?" Hearing Abigail's words with an incredulous tone, Liam joked.

Abigail had nothing to say, "..." Liam's words were so enigmatic that no one knew what he was thinking.

But that would be for the best.

"Okay, I will accept your request and I hope you keep your words and drop the charges against Tina," Abigail said.

Liam smiled after hearing Abigail's words, and said. "Miss Swift, don't be so confident. I will consider dropping the charges only if you settle the case!"

"You..." Abigail frowned.

"But don't worry, I won't sue her for the time being, and she won't go to jail either," Liam said.

Abigail was quite relieved after hearing his words.

That would be the best she could hope for now.

"Fair!" Liam said softly and then continued, "Miss Swift, welcome back to work." After that, Liam hung up without saying anything.
