His Beloved Mate novel Chapter 57

It seemed that Dylan had accepted the suggestion and had a taste of the roasted sweet potato reluctantly. The sweet taste spread from the tip of his tongue to his taste bud. Cassie looked at him expectantly and asked, "What do you think? Is it delicious? !"

Dylan put on a gesture of commenting, took a sip of coffee slowly and said, "The fragrance of charcoal and sweet taste of sweet potato are perfectly mixed. But it's a little charred."

With a smile, Cassie said, "It's only delicious when it's scorched. When I was a student, there was an old man near the school in winter who pushed a car to sell roasted sweet potato. The taste was sweet, but I felt something was missing. It was not until my classmate took me to her home to play and roasted sweet potato with firewood in her backyard that I realized what I lacked. What I lack is the fragrance of fireworks... "

Hearing what she said, Dylan didn't retort. Time seemed to pass very fast in the morning. It was almost afternoon, and the snow outside had no intention of stopping. Belle asked, "Sir, what would you like for lunch? I'll prepare it."

Taking a look at Cassie, Dylan closed the computer and said slowly, "Let's prepare the barbecue."

All of a sudden, Cassie jumped with joy. She hugged Dylan excitedly and said, "Why are you so good today, capitalist! You promise me whatever I say!"

Dylan chuckled and patted her hand in disgust. "You just finished eating the roasted sweet potato. Your hands haven't washed yet. My clothes are dirty by you."

She chuckled and said shyly, "I'm just happy."

Belle sneered, "Is there anything you like, Cassie? I'll prepare it."

Cassie pointed at her fingers. After thinking for a while, she said, "As long as you have meat."

-

In the viewing balcony of the West Mountain Linyu, the French window was very simple design. Around the pavilion, there was a man-made lake, and red plum blossoms were blooming.

Outside the window, there was white snow. Several red plum blossoms were in full bloom, adding a touch of color to the pure white world. Cassie smiled and said, "Capitalist, you have a good taste of beauty. Is the scenery here beautiful?"

Satisfied with her compliment, Dylan smiled. The meat in the grill was sizzling and smelt good. He roasted the meat for her. "If you can be so obedient and sensible every day, I will be very happy."

Cassie raised her eyebrows and asked, "When did I become thoughtless?"

She picked up the meat dipped in sauce and ate it rudely, but Dylan ignored her. He just smiled. Cassie roasted some leek. She smiled and said, "Eat more of this..."

Dylan looked at her, "Do you think..."

Cassie quickly thought and blushed.

Damn it! 'Can you have a good meal? How could he flirt with me?'!

She quickly lowered her head and sneered, "Well, I should ask Leon to take an X-ray of you some other day and let me see what's in your mind!"

He flirted with her without saying a word all day long! He didn't even blush.

Dylan chuckled. Cassie continued to drink the liquor in the cup. He put it away and said, "Don't drink liquor."

Cassie pursed her lips and looked at him. "What's wrong with me drinking? It's not outside. Ah, you are so annoying!"

Dylan gave her a glass of wine and said, "Drink this if you want."

Cassie curled her lips and compromised. Cassie didn't know what else he would do if she refused him. After getting along with him for so long, she finally knew that she would come to no good end if she went against the capitalist.

She took the glass, took a sip and savored it, "Well? What about the red wine?"

It was not until Dylan smiled that she realized what was going on. Cassie asked, "... Have you mixed some water? !"

"Not that stupid." Dylan didn't retort.

"… You are so mean."

Mean? Dylan chuckled and Cassie drank the wine quietly. Suddenly, she asked curiously, "Capitalist, don't you have any special wish to realize since you grew up?"

After a short pause, Dylan asked, "Why do you ask this?"

Cassie said, "I'm just curious. Don't people like you have any special wishes?"

"No," said Dylan.

Cassie pouted, "You're right. Only old people have no desire."

Narrowing his eyes, Dylan raised his eyebrows and looked at Cassie. "No desire? I think you are getting bolder and bolder."

Cassie giggled and said, "Drink makes one brave! Ha! Ha!"

Dylan asked her, "What about you? Do you have any wish?"

Cassie became interested. "What? You want to realize my wish for me?"

"Maybe."

Her cheeks turned red. She smiled and said, "I want to be a rich woman. Can you achieve it?"

Dylan smiled, "I've given you the black card. You didn't use it yourself."

When a person drank too much, it was easy for him to speak out the truth. Cassie giggled and pursed his lips. "Can I keep a toy boy?"

The toy boy was much better than a capitalist. He didn't diss her, but treated her as a Bodhisattva, not like Dylan! He always bullied her.

"…"

Dylan began to regret letting her drink.

He walked to her and held her up. Cassie was very obedient after getting drunk. Her body was hanging in the air, her eyes were blank and blurred, and her cheeks were red after getting drunk. She stretched out her arms, hooked around Dylan's neck and smiled, "What are you doing?"

"Sober you up."

"HMM..."

All of a sudden, a hot kiss fell on Cassie's lips. She felt as if a slight electric current was flowing through her body. Outside the window, it was snowy.

It took a while for Dylan to let go of her lips. Cassie reached out her index finger and stroked his face. She said, "In fact... You look good when you don't scold me. Isn't it good to give me a smile?"

Looking at her affectionately, the smile on Dylan's face became bigger and bigger. "I'll take you back to sleep."

Cassie nodded obediently. Dylan held her from the viewing platform all the way back to the bedroom's bathroom. A servant couldn't help snickering when he saw them like this. "Mr. Dylan and Mrs. Dylan."

Dylan said, "Yes. Ask Belle to make some sober-up soup and bring it here."

As soon as he entered the bathroom, Dylan put the hot water in it and took off the coat for Cassie. Suddenly, Cassie realized something. She wanted to push him away, but she was drunk. Her soft strength was more like a spoiled child on cotton, and she was a little shy.

"HMM... What are you up to? !"

Dylan gave her an evil smile. Cassie leaned against the wall and Dylan's hand propped the wall. "Of course, it's you."
