Chapter 211 Please Help Him Emily stormed in as soon as Mrs. Faber opened the door.

“President Lawrence! Someone‘s taking away my house! What should I do?!”

Her outburst left Theresa and Clarissa confused, since Damien was the one who gave the house to Luke and Emily.

Patrick, who had just calmed down, fell into another round of panic the moment he laid eyes on Emily

His lips began trembling uncontrollably. That woman was Madam Zell‘s daughter! He had seen her many years ago... After Madam Zell murdered her husband, the daughter appeared briefly before escaping with Madam Zell. Patrick remembered her face vividly.

All he could remember that day was Madam Zell covered in blood. Next to her was her husband, lying on the ground with his organs all spilled out. His hands and legs were chopped off, too. It was a gruesome sight.

Strangely enough, Patrick couldn‘t remember Madam Zell‘s face.

She had murdered her husband, and had also ruined Patrick‘s life.

After what happened, the price of his properties dropped and he fell into bankruptcy. Every time he thought about what happened that day, he would go mad.

He sli,ped on the sofa, shaking.

“Why are you asking me when it‘s your house?” Damien was sitting on the sofa too, glancing at Emily from the corner of his eyes. “Please, President Lawrence! The house is yours, so you must help us!” Emily pulled Damien‘s arm anxiously.

But Damien flung her hand away in disgust. Pretending he had no idea what was going on he roared, “How can I help you when you‘ve never told me anything?!”

Emily immediately knelt on the ground. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she begged,” President Lawrence! Ever since Luke got the money from you, he‘s been gambling non–stop. He even lost our house!”

“Oh my goodness...” Theresa covered her mouth in shock and dismay when she heard that.
