Chapter 37 Especially for Me? Damien ignored Clarissa and wanted to enter the elevator, but Clarissa stopped him.

“President Lawrence.”

“What?” The elevator door closed again, and Damien did not get on the elevator. “Just a moment.” After speaking, Clarissa rummaged through lier bag. She had everything in her canvas bag – a purse, books, tissues, and the small umbrella that took up so little space it was not easy to find.

Clarissa could not find the umbrella, so she began to feel apologetic and smiled sheepishly at Damien.

“You just finished working overtime?” Damien (rowned slightly at her.

Damien rarely smiled. Most of the time, his face was expressionless.

“Mhmm. Found it!” After that, Clarissa took out the umbrella as if she was doing a magic trick. “President Lawrence, I’ll give you an umbrella, so you won’t catch a cold.” Damien stared at the umbrella and did not take it over. “What’s this?”

He thought she was just trying to use an umbrella to please him.

After all, as her boss, his attitude determined her situation in the office.
