Chapter 65 Do You Miss Me? Naturally, Clarissa didn’t want Madelynn to remain smug for too long and be under the impression that she had successfully provoked Clarissa. At the same time, Clarissa needed a valid reason to ‘abort’her so-called baby. “I knew it! He doesn’t love me at all!” Clarissa pretended to huff angrily. “I’ll go get an abortion right now!”

The reason she requested for Madelynn’s Whatsapp contact number was so she could send the latter a picture of the abortion report later on.

That way, she would have a good reason to go through the abortion.

The next afternoon, Clarissa applied for leave from Howard with the excuse of going for a full body check-up. She even had Lily do the same so the latter could accompany hier to the hospital. How was it possible for Howard to not approve their absence slips?

Soon, the ladies arrived at the hospital where Bethany worked.

“Hey Clarissa, you might as well just tell everyone that the baby died in your womb or something. Why must you go get an abortion? Isn’t this a little too excessive?” Lily asked when they were in the cab.

“You know nothing, Lily. Since Madelynn wants me to get an abortion, I might as well produce the proof to her. Besides, everyone at the company knows that I’m pregnant. ! can just show them the report of my pregnancy being terminated. If ! claimed that my baby died in my womb, I’d have to explain that to them one by one. They’ll end up thinking that I faked my pregnancy just so I can fight with Madelynn,” Clarissa explained. However, Clarissa had spent an awfully short time in the hospital after that. Also, why would she eat ice cream right after going through an abortion surgery? What on earth was going on? Didn’t she go through with that abortion? Was she planning to lie to Madelynn? Or, could it be that Clarissa didn’t get pregnant at all and only pretended in order to trick Damien?
