In the hospital, Isabella was lying on the bed as she was being examined. Looking at the woman beside her, she asked casually, "What did he say?"

Naomi put down her phone, smiling, "You made a fool of him. Can he sill be happy? But why don't you let him come with you? "

Isabella looked somewhat guiltily at her for a moment, then lifted the clothes on her belly and replied indifferently, "What difference would that make? I didn't need him before, neither do I now. And...I always feel being tricked when I'm with him now."

She didn't want to lie to her best friend, as it wasn't easy to find someone to talk to.

Confused by her scolding, Isabella then said with a frown: "He will speak out his thought directly or show that by his action, so you don't need to think too much. He helped me partly out of his guilt and also out of the babies … He has always been a responsible man."

Knowing that she was pregnant with his children, his first reaction was to get remarried with her. His rationality even made her wonder if he had anything that he truly cared about. 

"Then...What if he helped you also out of something else?" Naomi looked at her meaningfully.

Isabella was at a loss, "Something else? How do you know if he doesn't even know? "

Naomi slapped her forehead and decided to give up. She should just watch them deal with their own business. 

Isabella stood up under the guidance of the doctor, not saying another word. She actually understood what Naomi meant, but she just dared not to give herself any vain hope. 

After half a day, the examination was complete. Isabella left the hospital with Naomi.

At the gate, a black car pulled up to the side of the road.

Isabella walked down the steps and immediately saw the man leaning on his car. Her expression immediately changed.

At the same time, Christian got up and walked over. He then nodded at Naomi: "Thank you so much, Naomi."

"I feel a bit tired after standing there half a day." Naomi rubbed her neck and pretended to be frustrated.

"If you're, I'll treat you to a meal, Naomi" Christian said blandly.
