Loveless Marriage novel Chapter 130

Christian walked very fast on the bumpy road, and her belly was more and more uncomfortable. She gradually felt panicked.

Both their clothes were soaked through. Hugging onto his neck tightly, Isabella said with a trembling voice, "Christian, the babies …"

"Don't worry. Nothing is gonna happen." Christian interrupted her with a deep voice. His dark black eyes were now like thick ink, looking a bit terrifying.

Isabella's consciousness was still awake. She looked up at his face through the rain in her eyes for a long time.

As soon as Christian rushed into the hospital, he started to called for a doctor. In the next moment, Isabella was surrounded by a group of people in white suit.

After half an hour.

The doctor walked out of the operation room, and Christian immediately stepped forward, "How is she, doctor?"

The doctor's expression softened, "The wound on her forehead has already been bandaged. Nothing serious. The children are safe too. She just need some rest, and be careful next time."

Hearing everything was fine, Christian's slowly calmed down his anxious mood, then nodded: "Thank you, doctor."

"No worries, you can go in now."

In the room, Isabella was lying on the sickbed. There was a gauze on her forehead, and the paleness on her face had faded a lot as well. Raising her head, she saw Christian walked in with a gloomy face.

But he stood there for a long time without saying a word.

The atmosphere was quiet eerily.

Isabella pursed her lips for a while, then could not help but mutter: "Your clothes has been wet. Go change, or you will be sick."

She was almost scared to death as well, but when she faced him, she felt guilty from no reason. She was even more afraid seeing his gloomy face.

But if he hadn't called her at that time, she wouldn't have slipped. So she couldn't be blamed, could she? But now it was not the time to discuss who was right or wrong.

Christian walked closer slowly.

Isabella immediately propped herself up and was about to sit up.

"Don't move. The doctor said you still need to rest well. Lie still." He looked down at her, saying in a deep and calm voice.

After pausing for a moment, Isabella slowly lay back down. Suddenly, Christian's hand rested on her forehead.

"Still hurts?"

Isabella's eyelids drooped down, and she laughed softly, "No, thank you for just now."

"I mean does your belly still hurt?" Christian looked at her with a heavy gaze.

Isabella's expression froze as she looked up at his face. Other than being cold, she could not catch any other emotions. Then she smiled lightly: "It doesn't hurt anymore. The doctor said that the children are fine, and you can rest assured."

With a cold voice, Christian said, "Do you think I can still be at ease for you going out alone?"

Isabella's eyes flashed. She subconsciously defended herself: "That was just an accident. I didn't know …"

Christian interrupted her and sneered, "How many pregnant women would run around like you? Until when can you be careful?"

"Christian, you!" Isabella's face darkened slightly.

He suddenly crouched down and held her hand. With his pitch-black eyes staring fixedly at her, he implored in a firm tone, "Isabella, quit the job and rest at home. You can do whatever you want after they are born."

He could no longer see such accident happen again.

Whatever she wanted?

Looking at him, Isabella didn't speak. A deathly silence spread between them.

After a long while, she suddenly laughed and touched his face. Then she softly said: "Whatever I want …Just because of these two children? Christian, can this be considered as my privilege just because I'm pregnant with your babies? "

She'd had this question in her heart for a long time, and now she mustered up all her courage to ask it. If she hadn't divorced with him, she could have asked it anytime. But now it only made both of them awkward.

However, she really couldn't help it now.

Christian's gaze darkened as he held her small hands to his face, saying indifferently: "You're the one who asked for a divorce, and you insisted to give birth to the babies. You didn't even discuss any of these with me. Do you need the privilege?"

"Then why did you try to stop me when I wanted to abort them? You just wanna two children for free."

Christian bit his lips, a faint smile appearing on his face, "If I want a child, it's easy for me to find a wife and make her get pregnant. But if you lose your babies, you probably don't want to be pregnant and have someone else's child. I'm just afraid that you will regret in the future."

"You!" Isabella's face darkened.

What do you mean by 'I don't want to be pregnant and have someone else's child?"

How could he be so confident that he even believe she wouldn't find a boyfriend after divorce?
