Madam, Your Ex-Husband Is On Call novel Chapter 77

Chapter 77 Don't Surrender

Next second, feeling the unfamiliar warmth, Anastasia straightened up, wiped away her tears, and avoided the big hands.

A sense of distance appeared between them.

Christian's face went cold.

The doctor led him to the intensive care unit because Chad's operation was not over yet.

But according to the doctor, the operation was successful. But it still needed observation.

Anastasia breathed a sigh of relief.

The stone hanging in her heart finally dropped a little.

If anything ever happened to Grace and Chad, she would not forgive herself.

Before leaving, she went to the bathroom.

She heard Lamia talking on the phone, who was complaining in a soft voice, "That old woman is almost finished. She is still in the ICU. I hope she won't make it to tomorrow.

"I hadn't forgotten that she was picky and disdainful of me when I entered the family, and now she always says that I'm not as good as Lyra. Why wasn't she killed in this car accident? I might as well just pull the plug..."

Anastasia's eyes darkened, and a sense of disappointment was suddenly provoked in her heart.

She knew how vicious Lamia could be, but she hid it so well that she didn't realize that she hated Grace this much as well.

She stood outside, and Lamia came out as soon as she finished the phone call.

The moment she saw Anastasia, Lamia's face froze. She stared at her vigilantly.

"What did you hear?"

Anastasia looked back at her for a few seconds and then calmly responded, "I was not eavesdropping, but I heard everything that should be heard."

She shook her phone to show her that what she had said was already recorded.

Lamia's face turned in panic.

She shrugged and smiled coldly.

"Mrs. Lamia Patterson, let me warn you once. No matter how much you hate Grandma, I will let the whole world hear how vicious you are if you dare to do anything!"

She didn't leave on purpose, just to scare her.
