Madam, Your Ex-Husband Is On Call novel Chapter 98

Chapter 98 He Is Here

At night.

Charlie developed a "high fever" again, and Beatrice was justifiably admitted to the original ward of the hospital.

At the Graves Manor.

When Anastasia came home, Amanda and Baxter were already cooking in the kitchen, talking and laughing.

Baxter was a very principled person. If Amanda was not around, he would never cook.

If Amanda cooked, he could not just sit and watch and have to participate.

Thus, as soon as Anastasia came home, she heard Baxter running back and forth while not forgetting to tell Amanda how much he had missed her lately.

Derek was reading emails in the living room. When he saw Anastasia coming in, he said with a smile, "Go to the kitchen and have a look!"

Anastasia had a headache. She went in reluctantly and saw that Amanda was cooking steak while Baxter walked around, wishing he could do it for her.

"Be careful, don't let the oil jump on your hands."

Amanda smiled. "Isn't the heat a little too high?"

Baxter said, "It's okay. Derek and Anastasia like it this way."

Anastasia was speechless. She could not help but cough. Baxter suppressed his cheeky smile and looked at her solemnly.

"You're back?"

Anastasia nodded, holding back laughter. "Dad, I don't like to eat overcooked steaks!"

Baxter clicked his tongue. "Don't be so picky!"

At the dinner table, Amanda poured a glass of red wine for everyone.

Finally, she mentioned meeting Lamia in the hospital.

Anastasia explained the reason for going.

Amanda nodded and chuckled lightly.

"Mrs. Lamia Patterson thinks that the Patterson family is so attractive, and she has been trying to arrange dates for her son everywhere. I heard that she has met many famous and wealthy girls lately, planning to look for someone suitable for Christian."

Anastasia's expression was calm, without any disturbance. "Then let her look. Even if she finds someone she thinks is suitable, it won't matter unless that girl agrees to it too!"

Seeing Anastasia's indifference, Amanda was slightly relieved.
