Married by Accident Taming the Billionaire (Cecilia) novel Chapter 305

Chapter 305 A Heart-to-heart Moment of the Siblings
As Adam slowly woke up, he saw doctors examining him, and he realized that he had been saved.
His body's energy gradually returned, and his thoughts started to clear. He recalled the battle with Fujino in Cherry Ridge and faintly remembered seeing his sister when he was on the verge of losing consciousness, as if she had come to find him, blowing a whistle.
Being alive was a blessing, and he desperately wanted to see his sister.
Hearing some sobs, Adam turned his head slowly and saw a woman standing by his bedside.
His sister, Cecelia Linsey, had silently appeared by his side at some point. She didn't call out to him; she just wept silently.
Adam's heart ached, and his voice trembled as he said, "Sis..."
"Kevin..."
Seeing Adam reach out, Cecelia approached and took his hand. The hands of the siblings finally held each other tightly, and Cecelia was deeply moved. In this moment, their tearful eyes met, and both of them shed tears.
There were a thousand words they wanted to say, but they were stuck in their throats, overwhelmed by emotions.
"I'm sorry, Sis..."
Adam apologized once again for his previous actions.
Cecelia shook her head through her tears. Finally, she laid on her brother's chest, crying softly, "I should be the one to say sorry, Kevin. It's me who didn't take care of you properly, me who wrongly accused you..."
"Thank you, Sis. I'm just glad to know you're my real sister. I'm so happy..."
Adam was still weak, and his voice was faint. Cecelia rose and wiped her tears, helping her brother do the same.
"I am too. I'm so happy to find you. My little brother has grown up."
Cecelia gently stroked her brother's face, and both of their hearts were filled with excitement.
"Do you know, all these years, I've been looking for you. I never gave up on finding you. Luckily, my efforts didn't go in vain. I've finally found you, Kevin. You've been through so much suffering."
Adam shook his head, "As long as I can be reunited with my sister, I'm willing to endure any hardship."
The siblings talked for a while, and finally, with teary eyes, Adam asked, "Sis, is it true that mom really died?"
Adam knew about the news of his mother's death, just four years ago. He regretted not remembering it sooner, as he could have reunited with his mother.
"No, our mother may still be alive, Kevin. I've confirmed it; she didn't die."
"Really?"
Adam was instantly filled with hope.
"Yes," Cecelia nodded, "Four years ago, she didn't die; someone faked her death, and she was abducted."
"Where is she now?" Adam's voice trembled, and tears welled up in his eyes again.
"I don't know where she is. Some had faked her death four years ago and kidnapped her ever since.
"Since coming back to the country, I've been investigating our mother's case. Following the leads, I discovered that a top assassin named Black Hawk intervened to prevent my investigation.
"I suspect that our mother was taken by Black Hawk, who was hired by someone else. As for the mastermind behind all this, we don't know yet."
After listening to Cecelia's words, Adam was shocked. He had information about Black Hawk.
"I know this Black Hawk..."
"You know him too?"
Cecelia was slightly surprised.
"Yes. During my missions in Bemanko, I had conflicts with him. From what I know about him, the one pulling his strings should be the Songo family in Porema."
"The Songo family? I see!"
Cecelia was even more surprised. If Black Hawk's mastermind was the Songo family in Porema, then her mother's disappearance was undoubtedly related to them.
Perhaps she would only find her mother if she went to the Songo family in Porema.
Kevin had provided Cecelia with valuable information, and by following this lead, she was sure to discover her mother's whereabouts.
Thinking about her brother's background, Cecelia inquired, "Kevin, you haven't told me yet, was the person who sent you to Cathail Republic to carry out the mission the same person who took you from the Monastery in Phoenix City 13 years ago? Who is he?"
"My shifu, Jed Landis. He founded the Revenant Sect, and he brought me back for training as a fearless disciple. He even game me the name 'Adam'."
"Jed Landis, the Revenant Sect?"
Cecelia had heard of the Revenant Sect, an obscure organization similar to the Dark Moon. Both organizations were relatively secretive.
But Revenant Sect was more of a mystery, with little known about them or their disciples.
Cecelia was surprised to learn that her brother had been taken by the Revenant Sect's leader.
"Tell me, where is their headquarters? I want them to pay for what they did!"
Cecelia couldn't bear the thought that the Revenant Sect had taken her brother and trained him as a fearless disciple, using him to find the secret collection in Cathail Republic and even attempting to kill him.
This was a debt that had to be settled!
"They are in the north of Bemanko."
Adam revealed what he knew. Cecelia nodded, "I see. Kevin, rest well. Once you're recovered, we'll go find Mom together."
"Okay."
After Adam rested, Cecelia left the special observation ward.
Remington was waiting for her outside. When he saw her come out, he asked, "How did it go? Did you find out?"
Cecelia nodded and shared everything that Adam had told her.
Remington immediately decided, "Now that we've figured out the Revenant Sect's headquarters, we can't waste any time. I'll send people to eliminate them right away!" After Remington contacted his team in Mysterious Realm, Cecelia said, "Let's go. I'll accompany you to visit your uncle."
The day was not only the day when Adam woke up, but it was also the day when Samson Nelson's father, Bill Carlson, was discharged from the hospital.
Remington, Cecelia, Samson, and Sabrina all came to the hospital room to escort him.
About Bill's previous case, Remington had already handled it. So, he could return home under his own name.
As the vehicle entered the gates of the Nelson residence, Bill was filled with excitement, and his eyes were red.
Although he had lived there for the past eighteen years, he had been living in place of his older brother. But, from this day on, he was returning home in his own name.
The vehicle finally stopped in front of the Nelson family's main house. Remington, Cecelia, and Samson all got out of the car.
Sabrina approached her father, helping him out of the car. "You can get out of the car, dad!"
Bill stepped out of the car and looked at the familiar main building.
At this moment, the grey-haired Madam Nelson and everyone else were already waiting at the entrance.
Bill, with the company of Remington and all, walked into the gate and towards Bill Carlson.
The comeback of her second son touched Madam Nelson deeply, and tears welled up in her eyes. She trembled as she extended her hands and hurriedly walked over.
Bill stepped foward to take his mother's hand. "Mother..."
"Son..."
Both mother and son hugged each other, tears streaming down their faces.
Neither said anything; they simply held each other, crying tears of joy.
"Alright, Grandma, Uncle, let's go inside and talk," urged Remington as he approached.
Bill released his mother's hand and walked inside, supporting her.
Everyone sat down and began to chat. The bond between Madam Nelson and her son wasn't strained; after all, they had spent 18 years together.
She couldn't help but be deeply moved, thinking about the ordeals her two sons had faced over the years, which broke her heart.
"Now that Bill is back, when can Sam join us?" Madam Nelson asked.
"Grandma, Dad will be back soon. Don't worry."
Remington offered words of comfort, and everyone had no choice but to wait patiently.
With Bill Carlson settled, Cecelia had to go to Porema to investigate whether Black Hawk was indeed connected to the Songo family and to find her mother's whereabouts.
She asked Remington, "Did you find out about Benson Quinsey's background?"
"I did," Remington replied.
"How is it?"
