Married by Accident Taming the Billionaire (Cecilia) novel Chapter 326

Chapter 326 You're Not Worthy of Him
Cecelia turned coldly and said, "Tomorrow, I will return to Dark Moon to find my master! All the grievances should come to an end! As for you, this may be the last time I call you... senior brother!"
She shook off his hand and left without looking back.
Seeing her come out, Remington, who was waiting outside, approached her immediately. "Cece."
"Let's go!"
Cecelia didn't want to say much and left the luxury cabin with Remington.
Inside the private room, Jersey slumped on the sofa, his face filled with agony as he clutched his own hair.
He had anticipated this day would come, but he never expected his heart to feel so sad when it actually arrived.
No one stabbed him with a knife, but her words were like a stab to his heart!
It was over!
Everything was over!
Cecelia probably would never forgive him again!
The luxury cruise ship finally docked at the pier, and all the guests disembarked in an orderly manner under the guidance of the staff.
Roger stayed on the ship to handle the remaining matters, and his wife, Winnie, stayed with him.
When there were no outsiders around, Winnie questioned him angrily, "Honey, why did you help Cecelia cover up the crime? What benefits did she give you?"
"What do you mean?"
Roger had just finished making a call to inform the police station when he heard Winnie say such words.
"I mean, it was clearly Cecelia who killed the person. I witnessed it with my own eyes. I can't understand why you want to clear her name."
Winnie couldn't understand Roger's actions. This time, she truly felt that Roger was being unfair, openly lying just to protect Cecelia.
If he said nothing had happened between them before, she would never believe it!
"She didn't kill the person! Sometimes what you see may not be the truth! I'm a detective, and I understand this better than you!"
"What do you understand? You're just protecting her! Don't think I don't know that you still have feelings for her!"
As Winnie spoke, she veered off the topic.
Roger felt even more unable to communicate with her. He didn't want to talk to her, so he turned to leave, but she stopped him. "What's wrong? Did I hit the nail on the head? Are you feeling guilty? If you have the guts, don't leave! Explain yourself!"
Earlier, when Roger explained that there was nothing between him and Cecelia, she believed him. But today, she witnessed it with her own eyes and was an eyewitness, yet Roger could easily overturn her testimony.
This greatly disappointed and angered her!
"What do you want me to explain? If you insist on thinking that there was something when there wasn't, then I have nothing to say!"
Roger said angrily.
"Fine, you finally have nothing to say to defend yourself! I'm so disappointed! I can't live like this anymore! Roger, I want a divorce!"
Winnie cried in anger. Roger had many things to attend to and didn't have time to argue with her. When pushed to his limit, he replied directly, "Okay, let's get divorced then!"
"Do you really want to divorce me?"
Winnie said it out of anger, but she didn't expect him to actually agree!
"Isn't this the result you've always wanted?
"You despise me for not fitting in with the rich, for being a useless cop who only knows how to fight and kill.
"That's right. I am who I am, and I won't change for you.
"If you're disappointed in me, then let's get a divorce."
This time, Roger didn't continue to indulge her without limits. He answered a call from his police team and walked towards the cabin.
Winnie stood still in a daze, not knowing what to do for a moment and feeling even more distressed.
Her husband didn't love her anymore and actually wanted to divorce her!
Cecelia and Remington came to the hurricane deck from the lower deck and saw Winnie standing there.
Winnie was crying as if she had encountered great sorrow.
Hearing the footsteps, Winnie looked up and saw Cecelia. Her emotions instantly collapsed.
In the dim light, Winnie didn't see Remington walking behind Cecelia.
All she could see with her angry eyes was Cecelia. Unable to control herself, she went forward and grabbed Cecelia by the neck, yelling angrily, "Cecelia! It's all because of you! You murderer! You destroyed my family!"
Remington saw Winnie going crazy and quickly strode forward to protect Cecelia in his arms, grabbing Winnie's wrist and reprimanding her, "Mrs. Shawn, how long do you plan to keep causing trouble?"
"Do you think I'm causing trouble? Do you think I want to cause trouble? It's all because of Cecelia. My husband defended her, and now he wants to divorce me because of her..."
Winnie became more and more upset as she spoke, crying in grievance.
"This is nonsense!"
Remington pushed her away. "Since Captain Shawn wants a divorce, you should reflect on yourself! Stop slandering Cece!"
Both of them ignored Winnie's hysterics and went straight to the lounge. Roger was waiting there for his teammates.
They talked about the Black Hawk for a while. The members of the Criminal Investigation Team and the forensic doctor, Kody, arrived.
Crime scene investigation, evidence collection, and preliminary identification of the body by the forensic doctor were carried out in an orderly manner.
The police also questioned the crew members on the ship.
The dead body needed to be taken off the ship, and Cecelia and Remington followed the police as they left.
They descended from the sixth floor to the bottom deck and prepared to leave the ship and go home. However, at this time, a police officer noticed a woman on the edge of the top deck, seemingly about to fall.
"Captain, isn't that Mrs. Shawn?"
Everyone looked up and indeed saw Winnie standing high above.
Roger's heart tightened, and he quickly shouted, "Winnie! What are you doing? Come down now!"
Winnie watched as her husband walked away with Cecelia and the others without looking for her. She felt even more desperate.
"Anyway, we're getting a divorce. You don't care about my life or death. Just let me die!"
"Don't move! I'm coming up to find you now!"
No one expected Winnie to suddenly attempt suicide like this. Roger was anxious to go upstairs, but Winnie shouted, "Don't come up! If you come up, I'll jump!"
Roger dared not make any rash moves after hearing this. Cecelia, seeing Winnie causing a scene, showed no sympathy and told her directly.
"Winnie! If you want to jump, then jump! If you die, Captain Shawn will be free!"
Instead of trying to persuade Winnie, Cecelia encouraged her to jump. Roger initially didn't understand, but soon realized her intention.
Cecelia continued, "Don't you want to divorce Captain Shawn? That's great! I will congratulate Captain Shawn for getting rid of such a troublemaker like you."
"You... Are you calling me a troublemaker?"
Winnie looked at Cecelia, feeling intense hatred and more tears welling up in her eyes.
"Isn't it true? Acting like you do, causing so much trouble, how do you deserve Captain Shawn?"
"You don't even have basic trust in your husband, so why still live with him?"
"If you want to divorce, do it quickly! Stop causing harm to Captain Shawn! You're simply not good enough for him!"
"If you want to die, go ahead and jump. If you jump from here today, I will introduce a lady to Captain Shawn tomorrow."
"I guarantee she will be gentler, and more considerate and understanding than you. She will take your bed, sleep with your man, and raise your child."
"If you want to die, go ahead!"
