Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 151

On the other end of the phone, Linda was sitting on the bed, facing the TV screen. It was still playing Arthur's birthday party last night. Adam was hugging Rebecca and laughing with the guests. The two of them looked extremely close.

Suddenly, she heard the sound coming from her phone, and she was in a daze.

"Adam... Adam..." However, it was only for a moment before Linda restored her senses. The next second, he immediately burst into tears and said sadly, "Adam, do you want to abandon me? Do you really want to abandon me and the child? You don't care about us anymore?"

"That's not true, I was too busy yesterday. My phone was out of charge and it turned off. I didn't notice it." Adam lied naturally.

"Adam, then come to accompany me now? Can you come to accompany me?" On the other end of the phone, Linda cried bitterly and begged.

"Alright, I'll come now."

After that, Adam hung up the phone and handed it back to Rebecca.

Rebecca took it and looked at him. "Go to see Miss Green. Just put me down by the roadside."

Adam did not look at her nor did he say anything, but when the traffic light turned green, he continued to drive to the villa in the Long Island district.

They arrived.

Adam drove Rebecca to the outside of the Capen family's villa and drove away.

After that, Rebecca did not see him again the whole day, and in the evening, Adam did not come back for dinner either.

It was around ten in the evening. When Rebecca thought that Adam would not come back tonight, her phone suddenly rang. It was from Adam.

Rebecca didn't think much about it and answered directly.

"Hello."

"Is it Rebecca, Adam's wife?" The phone was connected, but it was not Adam's voice, but another strange male.

"Yes, I am. Who are you?" Rebecca asked calmly.

The strange man's voice sounded very calm, not malicious.

"I'm Anthony Gilbert. We met at the birthday party last night. Adam was drunk at the Charming bar. Come and pick him up." Anthony put it in a simple way on the other end of the phone.

Anthony Gilbert, the eldest son of the Gilbert family, came to the Williams family with the chairman of the Gilbert Group last night to celebrate Arthur's birthday. Rebecca saw Adam talk with Anthony, it looked like they should have a fairly good relationship.

"Okay, I'll go over now." Without hesitation, Rebecca answered and hung up the phone. She took a coat from the cloakroom and hurried out.

"It's so late. Are you still going out?" When she went downstairs, a loving voice came from behind. Rebecca turned around and saw Arthur standing not far behind.

"Yeah, dad, Adam just called and said that he was drinking with a few friends. He asked me to come over and accompany him." Rebecca said to Arthur perfectly.

Arthur nodded, walked over, patted Rebecca's arm, and said earnestly, "Rebecca, Adam is still very young and was not very sensitive. If he did something wrong, please forgive him. Maybe in two years, he should be more mature and know what he really wants."

Rebecca looked at Arthur and knew that there were hidden meanings in his words, but she didn't want to think deeply about it. She just nodded faintly and said, "Dad, then I will go out first."

"Sure." Arthur nodded and asked Mr. Williams, the butler behind him, "Please ask a few bodyguards to follow along."

"Yes, chairman."

Arrange bodyguards.

Rebecca wanted to say no in the first place, but when she thought about Adam being drunk, she did not refuse. She nodded and said, "Thank you, dad." Then she turned around and went downstairs to pick up Adam.

This time, Adam was really drunk. He was seriously drunk. When Rebecca arrived, he was lying on the sofa, as if he was asleep, and his face looked so red that it did not seem normal.
