Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 159

Rebecca frowned. "Adam, I..."

"It's her... Adam... It's her..." Before Rebecca could say anything, Linda interrupted her with another loud cry. Then, she threw herself into Adam's arms and cried miserably, "She killed our child... It's her... Adam... It's her who killed our child... It's her..."

Listening to Linda's painful accusations and roars, Adam was indifferent. He was just staring at Rebecca, waiting for an answer.

Rebecca stood there and looked at Adam for a moment. Then, she lowered her head.

Adam has said that, in his eyes, Linda would never be wrong. Even if Linda was wrong, she was right to him. But when it came to Rebecca, even if she was right, she was wrong. That was the difference between love and hatred.

What was the difference between what she did do and what she didn't do?

"If you think it's me, then it's me. It don't care." Rebecca answered, wearing a poker face.

"Rebecca Smith!" Adam gritted his teeth and shouted. He called her name painfully and tears were falling down his face.

"Adam..."

Just as he heard Linda's voice again, Adam looked away from Rebecca. The next second, he picked Linda up and strode out...

...

That night, Adam and Linda did not come back. Rebecca leaned against the bed and was awake all night.

The next morning, she came out of the room and saw the blood on the ground. She didn't know what she was thinking, but she cleaned it up bit by bit.

After cleaning up all the blood, she washed up, got changed, and went to campus.

"Why are you so pale? Didn't you sleep well last night?" Justin knew where Rebecca liked to read in the morning, so early in the morning, he ran over to pretend to meet her by chance. When he arrived, he saw her tallow-faced.

"Yes." Rebecca nodded, looking normal. "I didn't sleep well."

Justin looked at her and frowned pityingly. "It's still early, and classes won't start until 10: 00. Why don't you find a place to catch up on some sleep?"

Rebecca shook her head and said, "I'm a little hungry. Shall we go for breakfast?"

"Yes, of course." Justin nodded, "I know a breakfast shop not far from the west gate of the school. It's very authentic and delicious. You haven't been there, have you? Why don't we go there now?"

Rebecca smiled. "Okay."

"Let's go. I'll drive. It's a little far." As he spoke, Justin took her hands to the dormitory where he had parked his car.

Rebecca did not struggle and let Justin take her into his car.

It was so comfortable to lean against the passenger seat. After a while, she fell asleep peacfully.

Looking at Rebecca, who had fallen asleep, Justin slowly drove to a quiet corner of the west gate of the New York University. Then he stopped.

He didn't turn off the engine neither did he get out of the car. He just sat in the car with her.

In Skyline No.1. When Adam returned to his apartment, the first thing he did was rushing to Rebecca's bedroom.

However, there was no one. The quilt was neatly folded as if no one had slept in it at all.

Then he went to the bathroom and also found no one!

In the living room, kitchen, balcony, Adam searched the entire first floor of the apartment, but there was no sign of Rebecca.

Then, he found that the blood on the ground was cleaned up as if nothing had happened.

Unable to find Rebecca, he took out his phone and called her.

Where was she? Adam desperately wanted to know where she was.
