Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 172

So, he chose to see what was inside in the end.

The package was torn open. A bank card, a marriage certificate that was torn into pieces and glued back together, and a note fell out.

Adam's eyes reddened instantly as he looked at the marriage certificate.

"Adam, the money that your father gave me, I transferred it to this card. No password. The marriage certificate is yours. Hope you can hold it carefully so that it will still be there when I come back."

"It will still be there when I come back."

Was it easy to get a divorce quickly with the marriage certificate?

It was just a few simple sentences. Adam looked at it and unconsciously burst into tears.

Staring at these things, he didn't know how long passed. He wiped his face. His hands were wet with cold tears.

He closed his eyes and leaned into the back of the chair. He looked so sad and regretful that his eyebrows trembled lightly.

"Rebecca, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!"

Two months later, Hautes Etudes Commerciales Paris in Paris, France.

It was Christmas eve. After class, Rebecca immediately rushed out of the teaching building with her backpack. A few students invited her to celebrate the festival with them. So she was going to cook, which she was good at, as rewarding them and also treated herself well.

But first, she had to go shopping with classmates at the supermarket.

There were a lot of foreign supermarkets in Paris, and almost everything was available.

So, during the two months in Paris, Rebecca was not unaccustomed to anything. She did well in language and could cook herself, so communication and the food were not a problem for her.

"Rebecca!"

However, just as Rebecca rushed out of the teaching building, a familiar voice came from behind.

She stopped and turned around. The person who called her was none other than her classmate, Nino.

Nino was from Bordeaux, France. His family had a big and beautiful winery. A month ago, he invited Rebecca and a few other classmates to the winery as guests. Rebecca stayed there for two nights. Nino's parents were friendly and treated them well.

During the two days, Rebecca not only experienced the life of a real French family but also felt their passion completely.

"Hi, Nino, what's the matter?" Looking at him, Rebecca smiled brightly.

Nino walked over and opened his backpack. He took out a small and exquisite box and said to Rebecca, "It's Christmas eve. I prepared a gift for you. I hope you like it."

With that, he handed the box to Rebecca.

Rebecca looked at it and smiled. "That's nice. But I haven't prepared gifts yet. So I can't receive it. Thank you so much."
