Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 202

"If you dislike these old ones, I can buy you new ones." Looking at Rebecca, Adam was suddenly as naive as a child.

He still didn't understand that not all women in the world liked jewelry, nor all women in the world liked to spend men's money.

Rebecca shook her head and said nothing. She just turned her head away.

"Rebecca, we used to be a couple. You can take it as a token of our love." Rebecca's indifference made Adam's heart ache. There was so much he wanted to say to her, but he couldn't.

Rebecca turned her head to look at him and asked with a faint smile, "Was there ever love between us? Do you want me to remember all the sad things?"

"Rebecca..."

"I'm sorry. I'm not blaming you or getting angry at you. The person you love is Linda. In order to force me to leave, you tried every means to humiliate me. I understand and I don't blame you." Looking at Adam's pained expression, Rebecca interrupted him mercilessly. "Now that you have achieved your goal, don't look back. Even if Linda is not good, it's your choice."

"Even if Linda is not good, it's your choice." Her words echoed in his mind.

When Adam looked at Rebecca, his eyes turned moist again.

Rebecca was right.

It was all his fault.

"Rebecca, I regret it."

"Hmm." Rebecca replied cooly and added, "But no one can pay for your regrets but you."

Adam looked at her with red eyes and a sad expression, but he couldn't say a word.

"I hope tomorrow to be my last act with you. Otherwise, others will think it's true." Looking at Adam, Rebecca Smith said cooly. Then, she turned her head away and looked out the window. She said nothing more.

Adam looked at her cold profile, closed his eyes, and leaned back in the chair. He could not help frowning.

Rebecca's dress was worn once, and then sent back to Adam. When she was ready to rest after washing up at night, the doorbell rang. Looking out through the peephole, she saw it was Bill who was standing outside the door.

"Mr. Lee, it's so late. Is there anything else?" Rebecca opened the door, looked at Bill, and asked with a smile.

"Miss Smith, the boss asked me to give this to you. He said that he was grateful that you sent him to the hospital in time that night. It was a token of his gratitude." As Bill spoke, he handed a delicate jewelry box to Rebecca.

Rebecca took it and opened it. Inside was the diamond bracelet that Carlos had bought at the charity auction today.

After taking a look, Rebecca closed the box and handed it back to Bill. "Thank Mr. Scott for me, but it's too expensive. I can't accept it."

"Miss Smith, I'm just following orders. If you don't want it, give it back to my boss personally." Bill smiled and said, "Miss Smith, I won't disturb you. Good night."

Rebecca looked at Bill who had turned around and left, feeling a little helpless.

"Oh, by the way, my boss has a strange habit. He never takes back a gift he gives. Otherwise, he will just throw it away as trash." Bill suddenly turned around and looked at Rebecca, smiling gently at her.
