Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back novel Chapter 7

“It's Adam who sits in the car!' Rebecca's face stiffened.

Having found Rebecca not her usual self, Justin looked in the direction of her gaze.

"What's wrong?"

Rebecca replied, "Nothing.Thank you for driving me home. But I'll go in myself"

Seeing a determined look in her eyes, Justin could only give up.

He turned around, got in the car, and drove away.

Rebecca took a deep breath as his car was out of her sight.

Then, she walked to the crossroads with the suitcase to hail a taxi back.

She then saw the Bugatti sports car was parked at the door of a convenience store not far away.

Out of curiosity, she stopped.

At this time, Adam came out of the store and strode towards his car.

As he opened the car door, he threw a small box into the passenger seat.

Rebecca could clearly see what it was—a box of condoms! Not far away, when he got into the sports car and fastened his seat belt, he was aware of an unusual gaze at himself.

He instantly raised his head and found Rebecca standing at the crossroads with a big black suitcase, his lips curling into an evil smile.

Then, he stepped on the accelerator and drove past Rebecca, splashing the water on the ground all over her body.

‘Damn it! He must have done it on purpose!’ Rebecca cursed in her heart.

Her wet T-shirt sent chilling coldness down her spine out of the blue.

Suddenly, Rebecca's phone vibrated in her pocket.

She held back the tears in her eyes and took out her phone.

It was her mom.

"Hello, Mom."

"Rebecca, I heard that Adam William had woken up yesterday. Is that true?"

Rebecca listened to Alice's gentle voice with her head down and replied coldly, "Yes, what's up?"

"Well, our family is counting on you now.So don't make any mistakes there and try to win Adam's heart. If you're kicked off, I won't accept you as my daughter.’ Alice warned.

Rebecca forced a smile.

"Okay, I'll try my best"

Despite the scorching sun hanging in the sky, Rebecca's shirt didn't get dry when she arrived at William's villa.

"Why are you in such a mess? Is my house a place for beggars?"

Julia, who was enjoying her leisure time in the garden, questioned sharply as she saw Rebecca's clothes were covered in mud and drenched.

"Sorry, but when I was on my way back..."

"Enough, I don't want to hear your explanation.Go take off your clothes and take a shower right now.’

"Okay."

Rebecca walked to the guest room on the first floor with her head down.

"I really don’t know why Arthur allowed a lowly woman like you to marry into our family,’ Julia complained.

Rebecca just smiled bitterly, not taking her words seriously...
