My Disabled CEO Stood up And Kissed Me (Natalie) novel Chapter 157

Chapter 157 I Won't Let You Get Away With It Easily

Kendrick looked Brock up and down and felt that something was wrong with him.

Hurriedly, Brock explained, "I mean, to give her both your body and heart piously."

Kendrick interrupted, "Right. I see."

It was a rather good idea!

Kendrick thought that he could absolutely give her his heart.

As for the body.

He rubbed his chin and recalled that he coaxed her last night. But she just didn't fall into his trap and his head was hit instead.

He coughed.

He touched his forehead and found that it still hurt a little.

(As for the body) There was no hurry!

Many were the years to come.

...

The temperature in Goldburg in November had dropped sharply.

The wind was blowing outside the window.

Fortunately, there was underfloor heating in the room and it was not cold at all.

Natalie had spent much energy recently. As she had no worries now, she had a rather sound sleep.

She slept until five o'clock.

She heard a knock on the bedroom door.

It was Kendrick, "Nat, are you awake?"

She replied to him in a daze, "Yeah".

But she soon fell asleep again.

Finding that she only said a word and ten became quiet, he directly opened the door.

She couldn't be sick, could she?

There was only one bedside lamp on in the room and the light was dim.

Natalie was holding the quilt. Her nightgown was lifted up to her thigh and her dazzlingly fair legs were just shown there.

He pulled the quilt and tucked it up for her.

Natalie turned over and asked, "You are back?"

There was sweetness and softness in her voice as she just woke up.

She closed her eyes and said vaguely, "I'm so sleepy!"

"Get more sleep then. But I bring you chestnut pie and roasted potatoes, and they will get cold if it takes you too long to wake up."

Immediately, she sat up from the bed.

He looked for her slippers, finding that she had left them near the other end of the sofa.

He thought that she must have moved around in the bedroom without shoes on.

There was underfloor heating.

But she had been in poor health recently.

He fetched the slippers and said with a poker face, "I have told you not to go barefoot indoors in winter." He held her slender ankle and put her shins on his legs, wanting to put on her shoes.

"There is floor heating anyway!" said she indifferently.

"No!"

As she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, she talked back to him simply, "Yes yes! The temperature of the floor is higher than the one of the shoes!"

She was spoiled anyway!

She just wanted to be a bit bitchy.

His look darkened. As he had many ways to deal with her, he just tickled the sole of her tender and fair feet directly with his hands.

She never expected that he would think outside the box. She felt rather itchy, crying and laughing at the moment. She just wanted to break free from his hands.

But he was too strong.

She kicked and just leaned back directly because of her unsteady gravity. She leaned on the quilt, looked like she was laughing and weeping all at once, "You just throw a tantrum!"

"Want to be barefoot again?"

If she remained silent, he would continue to tickle her feet.

"Oh," She laughed on the other side of her face, but she still refused to beg for mercy, "That's not fair. You're threatening me. If I agree, it will be an unequal treaty, haha..."

She kicked her legs so hard that she completely forgot that she was wearing a nightgown

"The beautiful scene" just fell under his eye.

He held her ankle and pressed it to his side.

She felt a gust of cool wind under her nightgown and realized something belatedly. She was terrified and wanted to get up, but she just lost her balance.

She couldn't get up.

She could only pull her nightgown down.

But it availed to nothing.

As she opened her eyes, she did found that he was looking at her. She said angrily, "What are you looking at?"

He chuckled and there was an indescribable hint of mockery in his smile.
