He approached the bed and looked down at the person lying on it, fast asleep.

He sat directly on the edge of the bed and pulled the person into his arms. Camille was startled by this sudden movement, her eyes met his in the darkness. She never expected him to come directly to Dane City.

Their eyes locked, and whether it was a psychological effect or not, she could feel the coldness emanating from Ayan even through the blanket.
