My Fabulous Girl Boss by Evergreen novel Chapter 232

Chapter 232 Kayson was slightly infuriated as well upon hearing that. He said coldly, “Does Joseph Wadley have the capability to do so?” Michael heaved a sigh. “He doesn‘t, of course. However, that man from the Osborns does.” Kayson furrowed his eyebrows. The Osborns‘ influence seemed much stronger than he had imagined Without the supply of building materials, all the projects under Wolfenden Corp. would come to a standstill.

By then, the resulting loss would amount to an astronomical figure.

“Kayson, my father said that it would be best not to offend the Osborns because they are unlike the other influential families in Skyspring.”

Michael said, “A wise man does not fight when the odds are against him. The Osborns have a strong influence, and even a pre-celestial fighter is nothing to that Sir Osborn.”

Kayson said in a deep voice, “I crippled his adopted son, so it‘s utterly impossible to reconcile the relationship between us.”

“That makes sense too,” Michael said with a bitter smile, “Since it‘s the order from the Osborns, I‘m afraid that there‘s nothing much that I can do to help.” Even Michael‘s backer, the Millers, did not have the courage to offend the Osborns.

Kayson said smilingly, “Let me handle the issue with the building materials.”“Feel free to let me know if there‘s anything that I can help with.”“Sure.”They ended their conversation.Kayson considered for a moment before going to Sadie‘s office.Sadie had a mournful countenance in the meantime. She asked in an agitated tone, “What‘s the matter?” Kayson said, “Nothing. I’m here to ask for a leave of absence. I‘ll probably be away on a trip.”

Sadie became even more agitated upon hearing that. She said in a mocking tone, “Taking a daily leave of absence so you can go on dates with Lindsy?” Kayson was rendered speechless. He was about to explain himself when Sadie waved her hand in an agitated manner and said, “Go away, quickly!” Kayson said, “I‘ll deal with the building materials issue. You and your father shouldn‘t worry too much about it.”Sadie suppressed her anger and said nonchalantly, “If you‘re looking to brag, go to Lindsy. Don‘t brag to me.” “This woman‘s temper... is growing worse by the day.‘Kayson rushed straight to Bwell Therapeutics because he was supposed to perform the second treatment to expel the energy in Christine‘s body today. Christine beamed with a sweet smile upon seeing Kayson. “Dr. Yarde.” Kayson nodded. “Let‘s go into the treatment room.”They entered the treatment room, Christine took off her top just as before while Kayson inserted the needles and pressed down on her chest.Christine said, “Dr. Yarde, Eira told me about Wolfenden Corp.‘s difficult position. I‘m acquainted with Shaun Cash, so I might be able to help out a little with the situation.”

“Shaun Cash?” Kayson was stunned for a moment.Christine said, “The building materials mogul of Skyriv.”Kayson‘s eyes lit up. “He‘s not afraid of the Osborns?” Christine chuckled and said, “He finds them unsettling but not to the extent of fear because his business doesn‘t depend on the Osborns.“However, I‘m afraid that his respect for me is not enough for him to offend the Osborns. If you can cure his son‘s injury, that‘s a different story, Dr. Yarde.”Kayson asked, “What sort of injury does his son suffer from?” Christine said, “His son is a prodigy in martial arts and managed to become an energy practitioner at a very young age. Someone hit him in a fight until his tendons were ruptured.” Kayson nodded. “I can treat that. Let‘s go and meet him later.”Christine‘s smile grew wider upon hearing that. “Why would you need to go and meet him, Dr. Yarde? I figured that you‘d agree to my suggestion. Hence, I called up Shaun in advance and asked him to bring his son to Clouspring.” Kayson appeared astounded. Soon afterward, he said, “Thank you so much, Ms. Locke.” Christine said softly, “Don‘t mention it. I‘ve only played a menial role in this. I should be the one thanking you for all your help.”
