Chapter 1554 Seducing Me

Timothy's legs were long, and he quickly walked over to hold the umbrella over her head. “Jojo, why are you here?”

He gently brushed away the strands of hair sticking to her cheek with his hand.

Johanna felt the warmth of the man's fingertips brushing against her cheek. “The owner of this tea garden is a friend of Waylon, and I'm here to design outfits for their tea brand's spokesperson. I came here looking for inspiration.”

“The rain is too heavy. Let's head back first,” Timothy said. He put his arm around Johanna's shoulder, tilting the umbrella as much as possible toward her.

Once they returned to the tea house, Timothy's sweater and trousers were completely soaked.

The staff brought over dry towels for the two of them. “Mr. Jensen, we have a guest room here. Why don't you take a shower? Your clothes will be dry in a few minutes with the dryer.”

“Thank you.” Timothy casually wrung out the heavy, wet sweater, picked up the keys, and led Johanna to the guest room at the back.

He told Johanna to take a bath, then went out to find a staff member. He spent some money to buy two pieces of ginger and brewed a large cup of ginger tea.

After returning to the guest room, he knocked on the door, “Jojo, have you finished washing up?”

It wasn't long before the door swung open. Johanna was still clad in her drenched sweater and skirt, her hair also dripping wet. “The shower won't produce any hot water, and there's only one bath towel in the bathroom,” she said.

Timothy returned to the car to fetch a set of pajamas from the luggage, then came back to the guest room bathroom to check the shower head.

He didn't know why Johanna couldn't get the hot water to work, but he simply turned the knob toward the hot side, and within less than twenty seconds, the cold water had turned warm.

Johanna said, “There were no signs on it, so I thought that direction was for the hot water.”

“You're such a goof. Cold water on the right and hot water on the left is universally understood.” Timothy placed the shower head in her hand. “You go ahead and shower. I'll step out for now.”
