My Identities Were Revealed After Marriage novel Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Sandra and Levy were escorted into a private room, oblivious to the events that had unfolded outside. Unbeknownst to them, the Smith family had been banned from entering any Brovard properties due to their disrespectful behavior.

Meanwhile, Sandra's mother, Matilda, happened to be at the same branch and overheard the insults hurled at her daughter and herself by the Smith family. Consumed by anger, she promptly ordered the manager and her personal assistant to enforce a ban on the Smith family from all of her properties.

Matilda had endured the Smith family's mistreatment while living with them, but now that she had chosen to live independently, she refused to tolerate any further disrespect. Though she acknowledged her past failures as a mother and her inability to protect her daughter, she was determined to shield Sandra's properties and uphold her dignity at all costs.

The sight of Levy's handsomeness and the aura of distinction surrounding him intrigued Matilda. This led her to question the rumors about the Anthony family losing their wealth and vanishing from the wealthy circles. She was aware of another Anthony family residing in the capital, shrouded in mystery, particularly regarding the head of the family. Matilda couldn't fathom the complete disappearance of the Anthony family, especially if the elder generation was still alive. She sensed that there was more to the story that she didn't yet comprehend.

Concerned for her daughter's well-being and wanting to spare her from any potential family drama or issues, Matilda decided to investigate the Anthony family further. She understood that her young and innocent daughter wouldn't be equipped to handle complex family matters. Little did she know, Sandra's name alone struck fear in the hearts of many in Country N. Sandra was not only a ruthless businesswoman but also the leader of the infamous and merciless Sedate organization, making her a formidable force in the country.

Sandra and Levy settled into their seats, and the waiter presented them with menus. Levy asked Sandra to choose her meal, and she replied, "I'm not a picky eater. As long as the food is good, I have no problem."

Levy then instructed the waiter to bring them their special meal, as they were celebrating their first day of marriage. Sandra chuckled and remarked, "Do you really need to tell the waiter all of that?" Levy looked at her, slightly puzzled, and asked, "Tell the waiter what?"

"That we are celebrating our first day of marriage," Sandra clarified. Levy looked at her and responded, "Well, I didn't expect my wife to have such a sharp tongue. It's quite different from what people say about you."

Sandra smiled, realizing that he was trying to change the subject by making a lighthearted comment. She decided to go along with it and said, "Well, I also didn't expect my husband to be so different from the rumors."

Levy laughed, realizing that he had been laughing quite a lot today. It was a new feeling for him, as if his heart had skipped a beat for someone for the first time. He wondered if this was what they called love at first sight. He agreed that Sandra was a beautiful woman who could easily captivate any man's attention. However, he had seen many beauties in his life who hadn't made an impact on him.

But with Sandra, it was different. Just one look from her and he felt a profound connection he had never experienced before. He felt that she was the missing piece in his life, and being with her made him feel complete in a way he couldn't quite describe.

Levy's intense gaze made Sandra feel a bit self-conscious, and she couldn't help but ask him, "Mr. Levy, is there something on my face? You've been looking at me for quite a while."
