My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 220

Chapter 220

Kenneth showed up, and all the people rushed forward excitedly to surround him with flattery.

"We heard that Mr. Lucero will come to attend Ms. Stephany's birthday party, but we didn't expect that you would really come. Mr. Lucero, nice to meet you."

"In recent years, Mr. Lucero has been very low-key and mysterious. He has never been present on any public occasion. This is the first time I have seen him at a birthday party. Obviously, Mr. Lucero likes Ms. Stephany very much."

"Ms. Stephany is not only the first beauty in Hardgrad but also a medical genius. Therefore, she is really the perfect match for Mr. Lucero."

Amid all the greetings and compliments, Stephany looked up at Kenneth beside her. He was tall, standing in the middle of the bright lights. The light seemed to give a golden, dazzling glow to his handsome features and made him so charming that she felt shy to look straight at him.

Stephany had always dreamed that one day she could stand beside him openly, enjoying the envy, respect, and flattery of all people.

Now, she felt that this dream had finally come true.

Seth looked very happy. He had never dared to dream that he would become the father-in-law of such a powerful man as Kenneth. He had never thought that Kenneth would take a fancy to his daughter.

Seth said with a flattering smile, "Mr. Lucero, thank you for coming to Stephany's birthday. Let me introduce myself. I'm Stephany's father, Seth, and this is Stephany's mother..."

Seth reached out to grab Caitlin beside him, but he failed. He looked back and then saw Caitlin, who was supposed to be the most complacent person present, show a pale face.

Caitlin looked at Kenneth in shock. Her pupils kept contracting and expanding. Her expression was filled with disbelief, and she stammered, "You...you..."

Caitlin suffered a heavy blow some time ago, and it took her two whole months to recover. However, her memory was not bad, and she quickly recognized Kenneth.
