My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 233

Chapter 233

Arabella couldn't believe what she had heard. With a delicate and slim figure, she had never been laughed at like this before. Arabella was irritated and quickly reached for the book. "Mr. Lucero, don't look down upon me. Give me back the medical book quickly!"

Kenneth was more than 6 feet tall. Therefore, when he raised his hand, it was beyond Arabella's reach. Arabella turned over and climbed onto him to reach the book.

Kenneth leaned his straight back lazily against the head of the bed and held her soft waist with one hand. After a while, he reminded her, "Mrs. Lucero, don't rub against me anymore, or I will be unable to help it."

Arabella could not grasp the book at all. In fact, she had not even touched a corner of the book. It was a great shame to her. When her heart was burning with competitiveness, she suddenly heard his words. Then she instantly stiffened and quickly looked over at him.

Then she finally discovered how ambiguous their postures were. It turned out that she had already climbed to his side.

Arabella's slender eyelashes trembled. Later, she realized that he was teasing her by deliberately robbing her medical book. She quickly clenched her fist and struck him. "Mr. Lucero, why are you so bad?"

Kenneth directly threw the medical book out of his hand and onto the soft wool carpet.

"Hey, that's my book!" Arabella wanted to get out of bed and pick it up.

However, Kenneth took her by the waist and carried her back. "Mrs. Lucero, why don't you have any self-awareness of being a wife? Are you going to spend this evening on a medical book and put me aside?"

"Then what do you want? Didn't you just say that you would leave me some time to grow up?"

"I did say so, but I have already grown up. You study medical books all day long. Why don't you spend some time studying your husband? In fact, I haven't been feeling so well recently."

Arabella's heart tightened, and she was worried that Kenneth's illness would act up again.
