My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 37

Chapter 37
He caught her little tail.
Arabella blushed and quickly struggled to free herself. "What are you doing? Let go of me!"
Kenneth didn't loosen his grip and even tugged the little tail. "Is it your new taste?"
Arabella was confused and then realized something after hearing what Kenneth said. There were so many sex nightgowns in the closet, and why did this one have a cute style? It turned out that the nightgown she was wearing was just another different type of "hot" nightgown.
Arabella reached out and pushed Kenneth away. "Mr. Lucero, you are so shameless!"
Kenneth grabbed her little tail and didn't let go. He raised his eyebrows and said, "Why did you say that?"
"Is that wasn't you who prepared all the clothes in the closet? You're really shameless!"
Kenneth glanced at the closet and said, "I didn't do that! It was grandma who prepared them for you."
Mrs. Sharon?
Arabella was speechless.
She stood there with her jaw dropped. "Mrs. Sharon?" she thought, "She knew so much!"
It was like the old saying, "Aged people are more tricky".
Kenneth looked at the little Rylie and asked, "How is the cat? Does it behave well?"
Arabella tried hard to pull back her little tail while speaking, "Yeah! Rylie is a good cat."
"Then how about you? Are you being good?"
Arabella made no answer.
"What did he mean by that? I'm not a kitten!" she thought in her heart.
Kenneth still grabbed the tail, but his flirtatious attitude really got Arabella a bit angry, as if she was really a kitten that he was teasing in his hand.
At that moment, there was a knock on the door, and a maid's voice came from outside, "Mr. Lucero, Mrs. Sharon asked me to make you a bowl of soup."
Hearing the maid's voice, Arabella immediately pushed Kenneth away, afraid that the maid might see such an embarrassing scene.
Kenneth finally loosened his grip and let her go. He looked at Arabella's shy and silent look and could not help but smile.
Kenneth went to open the door and took a look at the soup in the maid's hands. Mrs. Sharon always liked to make him some soup when she had the time, and Kenneth would drink the soup all obediently as Mrs. Sharon wished.
Therefore, Kenneth also did not refuse and drank all the soup this time.
...
Kenneth went to the bathroom and took a cold shower. After he came out, he sat on the sofa and flipped through the papers.
Suddenly, he felt very hot on his body. Bit by bit, his body temperature came up, and soon he felt like there was a fire burning inside his body, making him feel very uncomfortable.
Kenneth looked up and looked at Arabella. She was now sitting on the bed, with a medical book in her hand, looking innocent and quiet.
He shifted his gaze from Arabella to the papers in his hand, but he couldn't read even a word.
Kenneth got up and came to the bedside. He reached out and jerked the medical book out of Arabella's hands and threw it aside.
"Mr. Lucero, what are you doing? I'm reading a book!" Arabella protested.
Kenneth sat on the edge of the bed and took Arabella's soft hand. Then, he placed her hand on his forehead and asked, "I'm afraid that I got a fever."
Arabella was startled by the temperature of his forehead. His forehead was very hot now.
Arabella quickly took his pulse, and after a few seconds, she said with a weird look, "Have you... eaten some medicine?"
What Arabella said confirmed Kenneth's guess. After all, he was in his own home now, so he was a little unsure at the beginning, but after hearing what Arabella said, he quickly got up and pulled open the door.
