My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 381

Chapter 381

Kenneth suddenly let go of her small face. He then seized her fair shoulders with both hands and pushed her against the wall. The light was so dim here that Arabella could not discern the emotion in his eyes. "Arabella, I'm asking you, what if I cannot be cured?"

Arabella's eyes grew red, and she felt heartbroken as never before. She looked at him and said word for word, "No, I will definitely cure you!"

It was not the answer he wanted to hear.

Kenneth heavily blinked his handsome eyes and forced himself to release her shoulders, for he knew he had to release her immediately. His emotions were unstable, and he might lose control in the next second. He didn't want to hurt her, so he could only stay away from her now.

He turned around and left.

Arabella didn't understand why he suddenly left.

She rushed forward and reached out her small hands to embrace his strong waist from behind, tightly hugging him.

Kenneth stopped. Without looking back, he said in a low and indifferent voice, "Let go of me."

"No, I want to hug you. Mr. Lucero, if I were there at that time, I would definitely hug you and not let you be alone."

Kenneth didn't want to recall that dark and humid time, although the scenes seemed to be embedded in his mind, constantly reminding him of what an unbearable past he had.

Now Arabella's soft body was hugging him from behind, so warm and fragrant. However, the great rage that surged in his chest made him feel a terrible desire to destroy her, so beautiful and spotless a woman.
