My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 47

Chapter 47
Before Arabella could react, Kenneth threw all the cards in his hand onto the table.
He did this casually, but the cards thrown onto the table made a loud sound. The portly boss was frightened, and so his hand stopped approaching Arabella.
Although Kenneth was cold throughout the process and didn't speak much, everyone was carefully observing and revolving around him.
When he threw the cards, the bustling luxurious room went quiet instantly.
The portly boss looked at Kenneth with flattery, "Mr. Lucero..."
Kenneth snuffed out the cigarette in the ashtray and glanced at the beautiful women around him, "Go aside to play alone."
Although the two beauties were reluctant to leave, they didn't dare to offend Kenneth. So, they quickly walked away.
Kenneth gently lifted his eyelids to look at the portly boss. He didn't say anything, but his gaze was cold and piercing.
The portly boss broke up in cold sweat. However, as someone who often came out to play, he could precisely sense that Kenneth was interested in Arabella. Therefore, the portly boss quickly said, "Little beauty, just now you have lost the game. It's time for you to accompany us for drinking. Moreover, you're in debt of thirty million dollars. Don't think about leaving the room without resolving the debt. Mr. Lucero is the richest man here. You can first give Mr. Lucero a toast and see whether he is willing help you to pay off the debt."
Arabella curled her fingers slightly and stood up. She took a glass of wine and looked at Kenneth, "Cheers to you, Mr. Lucero."
Kenneth looked at Arabella, "Why must I respond to your toast?"
Kenneth refused to drink.
He was embarrassing Arabella.
Arabella's hand that was holding the wine glass froze in mid-air.
"Little beauty, many women wanted to toast Mr. Lucero but didn't have the opportunity. You need to show some sincerity."
"He's right, little beauty. Without sincerity, Mr. Lucero won't drink the wine."
Not only the portly boss, everyone in the room could sense Kenneth's objective. Although Kenneth was surrounded by beautiful women a while ago, he only smoked and played cards. He also looked gloomy, so no one dared to talk to him.
Now that Arabella was here, it was clear that Kenneth was interested in her.
No one dared to snatch a woman from Kenneth whom he was interested.
Arabella frowned and decided to confront Kenneth, "Mr. Lucero, what do you want? Please speak your requirement. If it's something that I can do, I'll try to fulfill it."
Kenneth reached out to grab Arabella's slender wrist and pulled her over.
Arabella fell directly onto Kenneth's lap. Fortunately, there wasn't a lot of red wine in the glass. Otherwise, it would've spilled out.
Through the thin fabric, Arabella could clearly feel Kenneth's strong and lean thigh muscles under her buttocks. Different from her soft and delicate body, the man had a hard body full of energy.
Arabella's fair earlobes turned red because of shyness. She tried to stand up, "Mr. Lucero..."
"Feed me," Kenneth interrupted Arabella's words.
He wanted Arabella to feed him red wine.
Arabella was startled. She stared at Kenneth blankly. "How could he ask for something this... intimate?" she thought.
Kenneth looked at Arabella's bright eyes. Different from the stubborn Arabella a while ago that had provoked him, she was looking somewhat silly now. Kenneth thought that her silly expression was cute.
"Why? You don't understand my words or refuse to do so? Go down from my legs if you don't want to."
"..."
Every time, it was Kenneth who pulled her to sit on his lap. It was also him who wanted her to go down from his lap.
Arabella was silent for a few seconds, "I won't go down. I'll feed you."
