My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 83

Chapter 83

Mrs. Tucker was furious. She pushed Roger away, "Is this the bitch who seduced you?"

Mrs. Tucker pointed the whip at Caitlin.

Roger did not dare to admit it. He quickly denied, "No, she... she's just my goddaughter..."

"Bah!" Mrs. Tucker directly interrupted, "Goddaughter? Disgusting."

Mrs. Tucker directly came to Caitlin, "Bitch, why don't you go and find out who I am? How dare you seduce my husband. I will lash you to death today!"

Mrs. Tucker wanted to raise the whip again.

Caitlin's forehead was covered with cold sweat due to pain. The place where she was hit by the whip was stinging like fire. She quickly knelt down and begged for mercy, "Godmother, you really misunderstood. Godfather and I are innocent. Today's the wedding anniversary of me and my husband, so I invited godfather to attend."

Seth resented Caitlin inside. He could even close the bedroom door and beat her to death, but the Snyder Medical Group was in urgent need of capital injection, and now they had provoked the fierce Mrs. Tucker, he did not dare to make it a bigger deal than it was.

Seth quickly stood out, "Mrs. Tucker, it's true. She's my wife. It's our wedding anniversary today."

Mrs. Tucker put down the whip in her hand and looked at Roger. He madly wiped the cold sweat and kept nodding his head to prove his innocence.

Mrs. Tucker coldly snorted, "Roger, when did you become someone else's godfather? Didn't I give birth to a daughter for you?"

"This..." Roger was speechless.

Everyone's expression also began to change. They were discussing about it.

Roger quickly hugged Mrs. Tucker and reassured her, "Madam, I won't recognise her as my goddaughter if you don't like it, and I will have nothing to do with her anymore in the future. Don't be angry, calm down. It's not good for your health to be angry with this person. Let's leave here first."

Caitlin felt completely disappointed when listening to these words.
