My Quick-witted Baby (Arabella and Kenneth) novel Chapter 98

Chapter 98

"No!" Arabella pushed Kenneth away forcefully. Then, she stood up and ran away.

As the soft, tender girl in his arms was gone, Kenneth rolled his throat and unbuttoned the first button of his shirt.

At this instance, Kenneth felt like doing nothing except treating Arabella like yesterday. He wanted to carry her back to the room, pull off the bed curtains, let her sit on his lap, and kiss her fiercely.

Suddenly, he heard Arabella's clear voice, "Grandmother, I won't be eating dinner at home. A good friend of mine is back today. I'm going to the airport to pick her up now."

Sharon replied quickly, "Okay, Bella. I'll let the driver take you there. If your friend is willing to, let her come here to stay over for two days to accompany you."

"Okay, Grandmother. I'll convey your message."

Kenneth walked over and took the car keys, "I'll take you to the airport."

"No need..." Arabella wanted to refuse.

Kenneth glanced at her.

Arabella didn't want to show anything or quarrel in front of Sharon. She knew that Kenneth had a strong personality. When he said he wanted to send her off, he would insist on it to the end. It was unnecessary for her to refuse.

"Oh, okay. Thanks."

When the two left, Bryson muttered, "Mrs. Sharon, I think there's something strange going on between Mr. Lucero and Mrs. Lucero."

Sharon picked up the chopsticks and glanced at Bryson, "Ken is seeking trouble himself. Just wait and see. Bella won't be back tonight. Wait for your Mr. Lucero to chase after his wife."
