The Contract Lover (Nina Morrison and Lucien Gray) novel Chapter 218

Lucien is taking a bath. Nina goes into the kitchen and looks around. She wants to find some ingredients to make something to eat.

After half a day of toing and froing, she is a little hungry.

The kitchen is well stocked with meat, fish, vegetables and fruits in the fridge. Nina thinks about it and makes the simplest noodles with tomato and egg. Lucien can eat them right after his bath.

The noodles are ready. She puts the noodles in a big bowl and then puts the bowl on the table. Lucien comes out in a bath towel. When he sees the noodles, he laughs happily like a child, "Nina, you really know me well to know I'm hungry, and dinner is ready."

Nina glances at his half naked body, "Go and get dressed! Don't spoil my appetite."

Lucien contentedly goes to get dressed. In the middle of his walk, he turns to look at Nina, "Would you like to pick up Nelson tomorrow? I'll take you to the barbecue in the park."

Nina opens her eyes wide with pleasant surprise, "Tomorrow is not the weekend. Don't Nelson need to go to kindergarten?"

Lucien raises his outstretched hands, "I'm going to Bismarck on business at weekends, so I can't take you out."

His tone is like a father taking two children out. It's very sweet in Nina's heart, "You don't have to take us. I can take Nelson out."

Lucien suddenly becomes nervous and comes to hold her shoulder, "Nina, when I'm away, you must not go out at will, much less go out with Nelson alone, got it?"
