The Contract Lover (Nina Morrison and Lucien Gray) novel Chapter 230

In the cafe, Grace Lauren is flirting with the man sitting across, “Ray, I’m really going to be angry if you keep doing that.”

She says that she would be angry, but her enchanting eyes are rolling to seduce.

The man called Ray is a famous playboy in Cagliari. He hangs around in places of sensuality and temptation. He has seen everything. He sees through Grace Lauren’s trick to catch the rich. His hand slides up slowly and reaches into her dress.

Grace Lauren twists her body to cater for him, and delivers a better her to his hand. She also complains with coquetry, “Ray, why can’t you keep yourself in line?”

Ray is turned on by her. His fingers touche hard, “Come, let’s go to the hotel next door!”

Grace Lauren’s eyes sparkle with success. She tries to look innocent, “Doesn’t you say you wants to drink coffee? Why go to the hotel?”

Ray glances around. Seeing no one around, he comes close to her face and says grinding his teeth, “Stop pretending!”

Suddenly, Grace Lauren becomes excited. She stands up twisting her body and flirts with her seductive eyes, “Ray, show me what you can do!”

They go out of the cafe embracing each other. Seeing The Violet Hotel decorate with lanterns and streamers, some high cartoon inflatable dolls standing in the front of the door, and the fountain’s music is the song of Happy Birthday, Grace Lauren looks around enviously, “Which kid’s birthday today is? How impressive the party is!”

Mr. Ray gives a glimpse, “Whatever! No matter how big the party is, they can’t book the whole hotel. Let’s get our room!”

James Ray is right. When they arrive at the front desk to get a room, the lobby manager tell them smilingly, “Sorry, the whole hotel is booked by a guest today. Please find another hotel!”

James Ray is at the height of his enthusiasm. He is desperate to get a room to make love with Grace Lauren. Hearing the lobby manager’s words, he is so angry and put on airs as the son of the mayor, “Who can reserve such a big hotel? Don’t lie to me! Get me a room now. I'm not going anywhere!”

The lobby manager feels helpless, “Sir, I can’t lie about this. We are businessman, there is no reason to send guests out! It is the president of the Gray Family who books the hotel today to celebrate birthday for his only son.”

Gray Family? Grace Lauren’s heart jolts. She wants to ask more but James Ray begins to loose his temper, “I have known Mr. Gray for many years. My dad also comes to his son’s birthday party. You get me a room quickly. If something happens, I’ll explain to Mr. Gray!”

“Who is making noise? Who wants to disgrace my grandson?” Behind him comes an old and dignified voice.

James Ray and Grace Lauren turn their heads. Grandfather Gray, holding the butler’s hand, comes over totteringly.

The lobby manager knows the butler and gives him an eye contact, “Who is this man?”

“This is Mr. Gray”s grandfather. He comes all the way from Chicago to celebrate his grandson’s birthday. Why are you arguing and making so much noise?”
