The Contract Lover (Nina Morrison and Lucien Gray) novel Chapter 91

Chapter 91 Well Matched

Cheap blonde hair covers most of her face. Her heavy makeup covers her features. The thick black eyeliner is soaked by her sweat and it looks dirty. She has long false eyelashes and funny blushes. This woman dares to go out! The doorman of the restaurant let her in!

Lucien takes a step back. There is a look of boredom and disgust on his face.

Jarvis is also shocked by Nina. Monster! He almost says!

Seeing Lucien's face, Nina knows she is safe. He doesn't recognize her! She walks out of the restaurant with a sigh of relief.

"Stop!" She hears Lucien's impatient voice.

Should she stay or run away? All kinds of thoughts are rolling in Nina's head!

At last she chooses to turn around. She stands in front of Lucien with her head bowed.

President Gray, you are handsome and noble. Why do you embarrass me? Please let me go! Nina prays in her heart. She hopes that God will hear the most sincere voice in her heart.

Lucien frowns. He doesn't want to see the woman at all. He thinks his eyes will be polluted by her! But she still owes him one thing!

He approaches Nina coldly and reaches for her neck!

Nina is shaking with fear. The familiar touch makes her suddenly feel as if she has been electrocuted!

She has a sharp pain in her neck. Her necklace is mercilessly taken away by Lucien!

Nina doesn't dare to look up or talk. She has to bow desperately. She pretends to be dumb and pleading. It's a gift from her father. It is the most precious thing in her. She can't lose it!

Jarvis also thinks Lucien is a little over the top. Why does he embarrass a mute? It's probably the most valuable thing in her.

Jarvis taps Lucien on the shoulder. "Lucien, forget it! You don't care about precious jewelry. Why do you want this broken necklace? Give it back to her!"

Lucien frowns coldly and says, "she doesn't deserve this necklace!"

Nina's bow freezes in the air. She doesn't deserve this necklace? Yes, she is poor and humble, so she doesn't even deserve a necklace? Even a necklace that belongs to her on her neck will be ridiculed and taken away at will by these rich people.

She is also a daughter loved by her parents. Why should she be trampled under the feet of these people like mud? Who gives them the right to trample on the dignity of others?

She clenches her fist and resists all the anger and grievances. She stops bowing and begging. You can take it away! Today I don't have the ability to protect my own things. One day I will have this ability! Lucien, wait for me!

She hears the sound of taking out a wallet. Then Lucien's long fingers reach out in front of her. There is a pile of money between his fingers. They are enough to buy hundreds of silver necklaces.

"Take it. This is my compensation for you." His voice is cold and superior.

Nina suddenly remembers the rainy night when she first met Lucien. Lucien's car hit her to the ground. It was the same tone when he threw her a pile of money from the window.

Same pride, same contempt.

Nina hits Lucien's money on the ground. They are scattered and attract the attention of other guests.

Angry tears gather in her eyes. Nina bites her lip to hold it back. She turns coldly and raises her head slowly.

Her angry and aggrieved tears finally come down after she turns around! Nina clenches her fist and tries to keep her back straight. No matter how humble she is, she can not be insulted!

"How strange this woman is!" Jarvis says in a low voice. Other women will be upset if they are robbed of their necklaces. But they will be happy to see so much money. This girl is really strange.

Lucien doesn't pick up the money scattered on the floor. He takes a look at the waiter standing next to him and says coldly, "these are all yours."

The waiter can't believe his good luck! He opens his eyes and asks Lucien in surprise, "Sir, have you given me the money?"

"Yes." Lucien is still arrogant. It seems that the money is just a pile of waste paper for him.

He sees the woman who has come to the corner. The wind blows up her hair, which has been covering her face. She raises her hand to smooth her messy hair. Her movements are smooth and graceful.

Here comes the taxi. She turns and stoops and straightens her skirt. The outline of her figure and face is so familiar!

Nina! It's Nina!

Lucien's heartbeat stops for a while! He pushes the chair out and rushes out!
