Please Be Gentle With Me Mr Grant novel Chapter 111

“Go to bed.”

After a while, there was this deep and mellow voice from above her head. It seemed to be suppressing something, but it also seemed very indifferent.

Blanca’s long eyelashes trembled, and she opened her eyes for unknown reasons. She saw that Matthew had turned over and fallen asleep next to her. She was still in a resisting posture, but Matthew beside her had already shut his eyes and seemed to be asleep tight.

So she was safe now, wasn’t she?

Blanca adjusted her posture carefully and waited for quite a while. Matthew didn’t seem to move at all, and she went to sleep gradually.

It was a dreamless night.

When she woke up the next day, she stretched out contentedly. It was as if Blanca had not slept so comfortably for ages! Blanca could not be happier - She used to mess around, and even though she did not accomplish anything serious yesterday, she made it as a white-collar at such a big company.

She looked around and found that Matthew was not home.

It was way better than he was.

Blanca got up quickly, got freshened up, and changed. She went down to the second floor, looking refreshed and energetic. Mrs. Brown was by the dining table getting breakfast ready. Today there were bread, milk, and some other side dishes Mrs. Brown made. Blanca immediately took a piece of bread and ate in almost in just one bite, and Mrs. Brown stopped her, “Mrs. Grant, no hurry; We still have plenty.”

Blanca stood leaning on the dining table. It wasn’t a gracious thing to do to wolf down on a piece of bread like that.

“Alright, alright.” Blanca grinned, pulled out a chair, and sat down. And she kept looking around. Matthew just walked into the door and walked into her sight. He was in a different outfit than usual - He was in a simple sweatshirt with a white towel around his neck. And when he got closer, Blanca saw that thin layer of sweat on his forehead.
