Please Be Gentle With Me Mr Grant novel Chapter 16

Matthew held Blanca’s arm. They both stood up and he said that they should head home.

Louise hastily came forward, “No need to hurry, Matthew. I’ve made some nice tea. Why don’t you have some before you go?”

Hearing that, Alan smiled and said, “Well, since Louise has made the tea, let’s not waste it. You can stay for the night anyway. We’ve got plenty of rooms available in our house. And Blanca wants me to draw her a painting. If you stay here, I can finish the painting and give it to her as a gift!”

Alan really liked Blanca for her personality. He thought she was sweet, nice and straightforward. When they were chatting, she didn’t hide the fact that she came from the slum and she told him all the details of her childhood life with her granny.

This reminded Alan of his own struggling youth and his grandmother, and he could not help but like Blanca even more.

Matthew glanced at Blanca, as if waiting for her opinion.

Of course, Blanca didn’t want to stay. Because apart from Mr. Grant, everybody else made her pretty uncomfortable.

But since he mentioned that, she couldn’t say no, and she smirked, “Alright then. We’ll have some tea our sister made for us.”

Hearing Blanca calling her sister, Louise pouted her mouth. She turned away and went straight to the kitchen to prepare tea.

During the preparation, she peeped at the gate. She wondered when Jim would come back. If he wasn’t here, the show couldn’t begin.

The sound of the gate opening intrigued Blanca.

A young man stumbled in, obviously so drunk.

Alan frowned and grunted, “After so many times I’ve told you, you just can’t learn your lessons. Louise, get that bastard a cup of tea to clear his drunk mind.”

Louise said yes in the kitchen.

Carrie comforted Alan quickly, “Dad, please don’t get mad! I’ll take a walk with you if you want to. You don’t need to see him!”

After the two of them left, Matthew whispered to Blanca, “That is the douchebag cousin I’ve told you before. His name is Jim.”

Knowing that, Blanca nodded. However, Matthew was too close when he talked and his arms were on the back of the couch she was sitting on, which seemed like he was hugging her and whispering lovingly with her.

Louise was standing in the kitchen and she had seen everything. Her eyes turned red out of rage. But when she saw Jim staggering into the room, she smiled.

She knew so well that her cousin was kind of a pervert. Her mother told her earlier that Jim was coming tonight and he would be completely drunk. She would enjoy a great show if she could make Jim and Blanca be alone together.

If Matthew saw Blanca seducing his cousin, he would definitely kick her out of the Grant family!

Louise was thrilled at the thought of this.

When Louise was making tea, Jim had already walked into the living room.

When he saw Blanca, he was utterly stunned.

Just like all idle rich men who had done nothing in their life, he was about 26 years old but he had no ambitions and liked sleeping around. He didn’t even have a girlfriend, let alone a committed relationship.

He was quite pissed off by the news about Matthew.

He felt so jealous when he knew that Matthew had married such a beautiful and witty girl and he was still all alone.

What irritated him even more was the video of Blanca and Matthew that got out the day before yesterday. Now that he saw how sexy and charming Blanca was, Jim couldn’t take his eyes off her.

He was sitting on the couch and talked casually with Matthew. He peeped at Blanca from time to time.

Blanca was smart enough to tell what was on Jim’s mind. But she wasn’t angry at all. On the contrary, she giggled at him when no one noticed.

Blanca thought to herself, “If you wanna mess with your cousin’s wife, you’re really a total bastard. I’ll show you what I’m capable of.”
