Presiden's wild wife novel Chapter 104

David held a birthday party where all the celebrities were invited, including Elena and Logan. Elena knew Logan might not like this kind of occasion or being surrounded by many people. But since Daisy insisted, she had to accept the invitation.

On the day they were supposed to attend the party, Elena realized she hadn’t prepared a gown for it. She looked at those new clothes in her wardrobe, having no idea which one to put on.

Logan asked Jacob, “Where’s the dress I bought in the bridal shop?”

“The dress in the bridal shop? When did you buy it?” Elena heard him and turned around.

But Logan just smiled quietly. When Jacob gave her the dress, she realized that it was that light blue one she had tried on. She looked at the dress, feeling confused, “I remembered you said I didn’t look good in it.”

Logan explained, “Did I?”

Elena thought she might misunderstand then. He just wanted her to take it off and didn’t make any comments.

“Then why did you just buy it without telling me?” she pouted.

Logan avoided her question, “Just go get changed.”

Elena did as he said. When she came out with that dress on, Logan knew he had regretted. She looked gorgeous in it. And he knew he wasn’t the only one who thought so. But Elena was just in a hurry.

“Come on! We are going to be late.” She only had 2 hours left.

Logan comforted her, “Don’t worry. We still got time.”

“Come on, just go!” Elena didn’t want to be late at all.

But the next moment, the door was opened and a group of people came in. One of them was even carrying a make-up box. Elena didn’t realize what was going on until she was seated in front of the dresser.

The makeup artist was amazed by Elena’s perfect skin, “ I’m so jealous of your skin. You’re so gorgeous!”

Then he couldn’t help touching her face, but was stopped by Logan’s glance.

Minutes later, with the make-up on, Elena was turned into an even more beautiful woman who looked just stunning.

But she was wondering whether Logan would love it.

“Not bad.” Logan tried to be cool, hiding his affection perfectly.

“Wait a minute!” Seeing them about to leave, the makeup artist stopped them. “Where’s the necklace? You need it on your beautiful neck.”

All of a sudden, Logan felt regretful that everyone was going to fix their eyes on Elena. She was such a pretty woman. He felt as if he had to share his most precious treasure with someone else, which made him a little unhappy.

Elena selected a necklace which was not that shiny and expensive from her drawer. After all, she wanted to keep low-key since she was just a guest. She happened to see the silver bracelet given by Mason. She wore it as well.

As soon as they arrived at the party, Daisy ran to them excitedly. She looked at Elena full of admiration, “Wow, look at you, you are gorgeous!”

“Really? Thank you.” Elena smiled.

“Absolutely! Anyway, you look better than her.”

What was this supposed to mean? Elena was at first confused, but when she saw Emma, she understood.

“I can’t believe she’s your sister. She’s been talking with every rich man here like a social butterfly. But doesn’t she know she’s pregnant!” Daisy said with sarcasm.

Elena took a look at Emma, too. ‘Isn’t Jeremy angry about this?’

“Elena!” Elena was interrupted by Mason. She felt a little unnatural.

While Logan held her hand in silence. Mason walked towards them in surprise, “I was just wondering if you would come! So glad to see you here,” said Mason.

“You are discharged from hospital? You have fully recovered? ” Logan asked.

“Yes, not a big deal.” Mason smiled.

Elena felt somehow relieved.

Daisy whispered, “He’s your dad?”

Elena nodded but then shook her head quickly, leaving Daisy puzzled. “What was that? Is he?”

“Dad, why are you here? I told you to have rest at home.” Emma came here and held Mason’s arm.

“I’m better now. And I want to see Elena.” He turned to Elena cautiously.

Emma’s envy couldn’t be hidden anymore. She just sneered, “What for? She doesn’t care about you at all. What are you doing this for?”

“Emma!”

“Fine, fine. I will shut up.” Emma said, full of unwillingness.

Hearing their conversation, Elena didn’t know how to respond. So she ignored them and said to Logan, “Let’s say hello to David. He probably doesn’t know we’re here.”

“I know where he is! I’ll take you to him.” Daisy also wanted to stay away from them.

Seeing Elena eager to leave, Mason stopped her in a hurry, “Wait!”

He got rid of Emma and walked fast to them. Logan looked at him coldly, which made him frightened slightly. He was quite nervous, but he still gathered his courage and asked, “Logan, I got something to say to you. A few minutes, OK?”

“Sorry, I got no time for you.” Logan turned him down without hesitation.

Mason was upset and subconsciously grasped Logan’s wheelchair at this moment...
