President Williams Woos His Ex-wife Again novel Chapter 24

He wanted to see how far this woman could do for that scum brother.

Would she kneel in public?

Beth felt her blood rushed to her head. She could hardly believe what she had just heard. She was in a daze and could only hear her own violent heart beating.

He should ask her to kneel on this pile of glass pieces and lick the red wine off the floor just to humiliate her.

The wine was worth 100,100 dollars. He should be so profligate.

The air seemed to fall into a long silence, with no sound around it.

Beth and Aaron looked at each other. His eyes were frost and ruthless.

Then a smile emerged from Beth's face, along with her watery eyes.

“This is expensive. It’s so generous of you.”

“Of course I can't let Mr. Williams waste it!”

As soon as she finished her words, she bent down and was to kneel, holding back her tears from her red eyes.

Then she knelt on the floor. Her knee was pierced by the sharp pieces, covered with blood and pain.

She had told herself to forsake dignity.

She only wanted her brother to be safe.

So she must not cry. This was all she wanted. There was nothing to cry for.

The moment she kneeled down, her whole body seemed to collapse.

It was his worst humiliation for her.

Blue tendons stood out under Aaron's forehead. He was overwhelmed with hatred now.

'She is pretending again! Feigning cancer to cheat him before. And now she comes to make a pitiful face to earn his forgiveness.'

He would be hopelessly stupid if he was cheated again.

When Beth was about to bend over to lick the red wine on the ground, the door of the box was suddenly opened.

Then, a gentle voice sounded, “Am I missing something?”

The sound was so gentle.

“What are you doing? Why do you make her keel?” The man's voice was so soft that it was like soft wind blowing over her ears.

“Mr. Cook?” Someone greeted him.

Aaron looked at this tall man with his cold eyes, “Well, so what are your business here? My little uncle?”

Little uncle?

She was taken aback by this and unconsciously turned back to look.

She saw a man in a light-colored trench coat leaning against the door frame. His face looked tender and fresh in the blurred light. He seemed to have a halo around him, warm as sunshine.

His black eyes slightly upcurved at the corners, filled with bright vigor.

'This is Aaron's uncle? The bastard son who was kicked out of his family?'

He was Mark Cook.

Beth had never seen him before. But she suddenly had a strange feeling watching him come to her like soft light.

Has she even met him?

The feeling he gave her was very familiar...

Mark did not answer Aaron. Instead, he walked straight to Beth, who was kneeling on the floor.

“Aaron, woman should be loved and cared.” Mark gently held her arm and helped her stand up.

“Be careful, keep doing this will make you end up being alone.” Mark said ironically.

Beth was still immersed in the familiar feeling so she didn't push him away immediately.

As his fingers grabbed her arm, the temperature of his fingertips penetrated her clothing, deep into her blood.

So gentle.

His soft and low voice sounded around her ears, “Are you ok?”

A touch of concern appeared in his eyes, and then he took out a blue handkerchief he carried with him and presented to her.

Beth's eyes were blurred by tears. She didn't take the handkerchief.

She just stared at Mark with a very complex expression.

“You are...Mark?” her eyes twinkled with tears, “Have we met somewhere?”

She must have seen him.

If not, then why did she find him so familiar? Like someone she met by chance and reunited again.

Before Beth finished talking, Aaron, who had been sitting on the middle of the sofa, suddenly got up and strutted to them.

He rudely pulled her to his behind and drew her arms roughly, “Get out of here! All of you!”

'Does this woman long for a man so much? She knows that I will not let go of her brother so she should flirt with this bastard in the presence of him?'

'But She is wrong. Mark dare not fight with the Williams. He is just a damn bastard.'

Aaron thought Beth was trying to cuckold him. The thought of her staring at Mark, Aaron's heart seemed to be filled a barrel of gasoline, blazing with raging fire.

He was extremely indignant.

His anger roar made everyone else in the box go out cooperatively.

Though frightened, Beth struggled to free herself from Aaron's hand.

“Let me go! It hurts!”

“Aaron, just let her go.” Mark couldn't bear to see this.

“Can't you see that she hurts?”

Aaron's fury was exacerbated. He pulled Beth towards the sofa.

“Mark, are you not leaving? Or do you want to witness our making love?” He spoke in a slow and clear manner deliberately. Rage in his eyes seemed to burst out.

Mark didn't answer him and cast a worried sight onto Beth. And then he turned around and walked out with others.

Beth's belly began to ache again. She fell on the sofa. Due to weakness, her head leaned towards the other side. It happened to be the direction of Mark's leaving.

Aaron thought she was looking at Mark. The anger of being betrayed was on the rampage, burning Inside him.

“You are a slut! Beth! I have not died yet. And you are intending to seduce that bastard? I am afraid that you got it wrong. Mark in our family is even worse than a dog!”

“I don't know Mark!” she said with a red eye. “Don't talk nonsense.”

He choked her jaw, saying ferociously, “Is that so?”

“If you don't know him, then why you looked at him so earnestly and why that bastard spoke for you?”

She gasped and struggled so hard that she had no opportunity to argue with him.

She really... just met Mark for the first time.

It was not a seduction!

His eyes were gloomy, “Do you want to save your brother or not?”

His words made Beth stop all her struggles. She looked like a puppet doll at his mercy.

Her brother! Jacky!

She still needed to save him.

She was pulled up by Aaron's arm and then kicked in the knee.

She knelt on the floor with a sense of humiliation as her knee hurt.

“Do you still dare to seduce Mark?” His handsome face, now without a trace of erotic, was suffused with thick shade.
