Rebirth: Pampered Wife’S Counterattack novel Chapter 49

She glanced at the apple peels in the trash bin in the room and continued to provoke Bai Qinghao. "CEO Bai, look... Fang Xinxin bought a really large apple earlier. I thought she had bought that apple for you, but..."

She put on an upset expression. "It turns out that I thought wrongly. She actually bought the apple for Bai Chenxi. Third Sister, how could you do this?"

"Fang Manxue, were you stalking me?" Fang Xinxin pretended to be upset.

Fang Manxue denied her accusation. "What do you mean by stalking? Following someone is such a despicable act, I would never do such a thing. You've been troubling CEO Bai in the Yu Ting Villa for so many days. Mom was the one who sent me here to take you home."

"You came to the hospital to take me home?"

"I went to the Yu Ting Villa to look for you but you weren't there." Fang Manxue looked at Fang Xinxin as though she was disappointed in her. "Where else could you possibly be? I knew you must have come to visit your beloved Bai Chenxi. I gave him a call and found out that he was being discharged today. I guessed that you would be here, and on my way, I coincidentally saw you buying the apple."

"You sure ˜know' me well." Fang Xinxin sneered mockingly.

"Now there's finally no way for you to lie your way out of this, right?" Fang Manxue spoke forcefully.

"You even gave the apple to Bai Chenxi. Don't you dare say that I wronged you again!"

Bai Qinghao's complexion was grey with anger now. He clenched his fists tightly and his knuckles cracked ominously.

The temperature in the room seemed to drop by several more degrees. It felt as though the area would be covered by frost any second.

Bai Chenxi was uninterested in the truth. His ultimate goal was to deliver a blow to Bai Qinghao.

Only Fang Xinxin, this fat and ugly woman, could force Bai Qinghao to lose his rationality. She was the only one who could worsen his previous injuries.
