Seriously, How Did He Win My Heart novel Chapter 157

"Don't scare him." In time, Emelia stopped Julian.

Although he was a bit reluctant, after listening to Emelia's words, he still straightened up. However, he still said, "If he hides all day, when will he become familiar with you?"

Emelia wasn't in a hurry. "He loves quietness. Why force him?"

Julian glanced at the cat in her arms and couldn't help saying, "Don't tell me you don't care about him because you already have Viggo's cat?"

Emelia put Mimi down and let her play by herself.

Then she looked at Julian resignedly and said, "Am I so ruthless in your eyes,?"

Julian snorted and said, "I don't know how you treat others, but you are ruthless to me."

She decided to divorce and so she did, with no room for discussion.

Now again she intended to ignore him and so she did. She even didn't smile at him.

Feeling that he was being unreasonable, Emelia did not want to talk to him anymore. She simply changed the topic. "If you want to see Fluffball, I'll try to call him out."

Julian simply said, "Forget it."

He was not here to see the cat, but to see her.

Emelia then said, "Then hurry back to the company."

What?

He had just arrived and she was about to kick him out before he sat down?

"What about lunch?" He looked at his watch and suggested kindly.

In fact, Julian wanted to have the meal made by Emelia. The previous bowl of noodles couldn't really satisfy his desire. He wanted more. He wanted to return to the days when she had taken care of everything.

Emelia tied her hair up. "I'll order takeout later."

She had to hurry up and finish her script, so lunch should be simple.

Since the two cats came, she had obviously felt that she had no enough time. In the past, she could have spent all her time writing, but now she had to take care of the cats and accompany them, especially to develop a bond with Fluffball.

Hearing takeout, Julian was in a bad mood.

"Weren't you very fond of cooking before? But I find you're not serious enough with your meals all day long?" Julian realized that she hadn't cooked much since she returned home.

"I'm too busy to cook." Emelia didn't think it a problem. "I have to finish the script and take care of the cats."

Hearing that, Julian stood there wistfully.

He clearly realized that Emelia was no longer what she had been.

Even if they could be together again in the future, they couldn't return to the past. He couldn't live the life of being taken care of by her wholeheartedly.

She had her own work and career, and he was no longer her entire world.

He didn't know whether he should be sad or happy for her.

At last, he could only choose to leave. "Then I won't bother you anymore."
