Chapter Forty Three

He notices the red and purple markings on her hand, but it was not marking, it was a bruise.

A proof that she fought a battle. Angry tears welled up in his eyes making his eyes turn red, and why won't they, it was the love of his life lying on bed, almost looking lifeless.

He sits on his knees taking hold of her hand and kissing it, his tears drop on her hands.

He has always loved this strong girl, but due to one mistake, he wasn't able to call her his, and he very well knew who was responsible for it.

Not able to resist, he gets up and sits beside her, bending down and kissing her forehead, lingering there for a minute.

He moves back and joins their foreheads, carefully looking at her sunken cheekbones, dark bags under those precious eyes which were once filled with naughtiness, were now filled with pain, only pain.

Giving her one last look,he moves back and gets up and leaves the room. His veins popping, fists tightly clenched, his chest heaving up and down in anger, he went towards the person who was responsible for their fate.

Zohan was in his living room angrily yelling and throwing things here and there, everything was destroyed, all those things he lovingly set up for his Mushk were destroyed.

"I'll kill that Mushk...How dare she..?" Zohan yells angrily, taking a swig of his alcohol.

"Calm down Zohan, you've no other choice to divorce her, or else she will grab you to court, and whether rich or not, you'll not get bail like you got today because domestic violence is a non bail case." Zohan's friend tells him, more like his enemy who was responsible for all the ruckus in his life.

He gave all wrong advises to Zohan, which he blindly followed and was now suffering.

"That little bitch thinks she can escape me? Now see what I'll do. You've got the custody papers ready right?" Zohan asks his friend who smirks at him.

"Yuppp..along with your divorce papers." He tells him, taking a blow of his cigarette.

"Good!" Muttering a last word, he leaves from there, kicking the ball away.

Irtaza went berserk as soon as he entered the study, he threw the lamp breaking it into pieces and throwing everything down from the table, while Yasmin tried to stop him and his father stood up in a corner watching his son with teary eyes full of guilt, as Irtaza muttered only one sentence.

"This is all your fault."

"This is all your fault dad, All yours" Irtaza screams at his dad, breaking down in front of his parents.

While Hussain stood still, emotionless, but his eyes held guilt, immense guilt.

Yasmin sits in front of his son, taking him in her arms. Both the mother son duo weeps in each other's embrace.

"Look mom, what happened to Mushk, and it's all because of you!" Irtaza yells at the end, pointing at his father who does not meet his eyes.
