"What are you afraid of? I didn't mean to do something to his wife," Hugh snorted. He didn't fear anything. "I only want the other half of the crystal. I won't do anything to harm her."

"Shall we confirm if she truly has the other half?"

Hugh shook his head. "Unnecessary. My intuition told me she had it."
